The big girls, iv raised every one so believe it or not they look different just like people. Some are similar in looks and can get a mix-up but we normally know. Some have a certain walk even. The little ones are harder to tell but many of them are identifiable

Some of the names is so we can remember who their dad was. Like Connie is so we can remember Connely(bull) anc Charlotte is for Charlo (bull) others just names we like
This reminds me of the ranch I grew up on. We had about 20 or so cows, one horse, two pigs and several times they had babies. Lots of chickens a rooster, and a couple ring neck doves. We started off with one goat then we asked for a mate to keep her company then shortly we had twin goats. Besides a couple house dogs, one outside working dog and about a dozen barn cats. I loved all the animals and loved all that work. The 120 acres Thompson grape vineyard I could do without. I didn’t like that work too mush but still did my share. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hopefully you can get some moisture. Our son live in Knoxville but I hadn't thought to ask him if it was dry there. Over the past two days we finally got rain! 2" thank God

I am happy to see you with another bigger tractor. Just wish it had an enclosed cab with A/C and heat. I got some of those treats for the steers at mom's and they sure do like them. It didn't take them long to figure it out.
We sprayed them all last year and it didn't work at all. For now the pour on seems to work best for us. It changes though year to year on what works best. No matter what you do or use cows will have flies

Its important a farmer know the basics of animal care. Ya gotta know a little of everything in case the professional is not reachable for a million reasons. Great job and its practice and many videos teaching the areas to be careful with as well as what could become an issue later
