@@pianetamodena Sinceramente non credo proprio che si possa dire che quest'auto abbia salvato la Maserati Quante ne hanno vendute , una manciata immagino
At 4:54 we see the 'asimetrico' clay model. Stefano Pasini claims that Marcello Gandini liked the original model better (today blue painted and in the museo) Do you know more?
Riferimento???? Con la F12 e 812 si,con questo nuovo modello hanno fatto un pasticcio assurdo. Le linee sono troppo spigolose e tese,il davanti è troppo anonimo,il posteriore è osceno con quel vetro,e fari orizzontale.
Excellent video with some very rare photos. Just wish the pictures had captioned who is in them! Also, an English translation would have been great, too!
what's the car at 2:28 ? The logo looks like the one of Carlo Chiti engine building company Motori Moderni, never know they intended to built a sportscar
Superb Bertone design, not just the striking wedge shape but also the surprisingly thin A and B pillars, the way the "glassroom" is assembled. I assume the headllights could pop up, but I haven't yet seen a picture showing this. No idea whether the rectangular indentations on the bonnet have any cooling function or are just there for a visual effect, but they give the car so much more presence. Of course, don't park it under a tree during the autumn season.... Unfortunately, the interior didn't really match the fabulous, incredibly modern exterior. Still one of my favorite designs, even if I'm otherwise rather Pinin Farina-fan. This one stands out, what a statement !
