GIRL! My african american female boss did me the same way when I took a break from my wigs for a week. We were in a corporate setting.I will never forget that!
There wasn’t much context to your story about your boss it sounded more like curiosity. If you drastically change your hair, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be asked what happened lol. If he told you your natural hair was unprofessional or something to that regard, which you didn’t mention, then I think that would be problematic and wrong. No one can ask black women about their hair? Since when is curiosity audacious? And Something did happen to your hair, it went from straight to curly per your story. Also your hair is lovely!!❤
Smt...I don't mean disrespect, but American blacks make a big deal out of everything. If your boss doesn't like natural hair, then that's his/her choice. You all are far too sensitive than other blacks around the world.
👏😊You did an Amazing job with your hair, it’s very pretty. I need to learn how to style my natural hair too since it has some length now. You’ve inspired me 💜
The whole world have tried to dim our light in every way. We are some amazing ppl is why. Our power is way more than we know effortlessly. Just being.❤ SHINE beautiful QUEEN❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Okay but girl… if you wear a wig and no one knows and one day you have an Afro, that’s a valid question. And the answer is a simple one if you’re a reasonable person…
