300 prc doesnt have enough edge on 300 win mag to make it worthwhile. If a 300 isnt good enough, reach for a 338 lapua. The cartridge and gun game is faddish, very faddish. Gotta keep selling new stuff.
What is the difference between the CREST rifle and the SQUARED CREST? DO any of them come in a 24" barrel at all? I would love a 7PRC in a 24" metal barrel with the 3 shot clip not the longer 5 shot. I do not like the magazine protruding way down the rifle.
The rifle series is called the B-14 Squared Series, in that we have the Standard Crest and the Carbon Crest. At this time all the long action calibers come in a 22" barrel.
@bergara Why does the US get diffrent chamberings then europe? I would LOVED the crest carbon in 22-250. But sindce its no option for europe... I had to go with Mauser M12. (Already have a Crest carbon in 6.5 Creed, Crest in 300WM, and a Thumbhole in 308 tho :D)
"At a thousand yards. . ." Who cares? It's an Eastern hunting rifle. People have lost their minds conflating long range competition rifles and hunting rifles.
I have had this rifle in 6.5 Creed for the last month and I can tell you it’s a solid shooter. The stock feels great in the hand, and the “20 barrel is perfect for the Eastern Whitetail woods. I had plans to replace the trigger with a trigger tech…or Timney Elite Hunter but after shooting it honestly there is no reason to spend the money…..it’s that good of a factory trigger. I do not think there is a better hunting rifle for the money that has all the features the Sierra offers, great job guys 🎉
Absolutely gorgeous and sweet shooting rifle from what I’ve seen on video. I wish at least the steel barrel version had some cartridges chambered in a left handed rifle. 😎
I just punched the MgMicro in 308. I will be using it suppressed. I haven't shot it yet but i'm loving the feel of the Micro. I also had the Mg light and I absoluty loved it . I traded it for the micro .
Why isn't the creedmoor compared to similarly sized 260 or 264 more often? Everybody knows the 308 ballistics and its not known to be flat. It's like a teenager challenging a chubby middle aged guy to a race. I'm not knocking either round they are both great!
