If I have did Pillar again that's the way I would go and I would want the same weather you got too, looked great. I like a tent I can sit up in and those night skies looked amazing. Not too bad morning either, canny couple of days and one day I must have a look inside that church, always just walk past it, cheers Alan
Couldn't of asked for a better couple of days weather I was going to do the same route as you did but thought it was a bit much with the packs on, the church was all locked up. Views were amazing cheers m8y
.. ,باید استراحت کنیم بزودی هوا تاریک میشه. .. ارگها این دور. ور هستن. .. من میرم مقداری چوب بیارم برای شام و گرمای شب تا برمیگردم از اینجا دور نشید. ...
Funny enough, just said on another video, I always said I would do Jack's Rack but at 70 next birthday, I think I would be pushing it now. Despite only having 537 Wainwrights' left to do, I have not done any of those Fell Tops in the Langdale Valley yet, so this summer I will have to get myself there and thank goodness I am a NT member - £8 is a bit steep mind. Aw ha, I see now who you seemed to be with and fair play to you both for getting up Jacks Rake, especially as it looked like it was raining as well. Cheers Alan
The langdales is a great area well worth the effort. It's not as bad as people make out couple of sketchy parts where you need to be quite nibble worth going with someone to help on them bits if you struggle i.e I had to physically place my foot with my hand to get past one bit🥺. 537 feels like it haha the weather calmed down otherwise wouldn't of gone up. IAM a member too it's saved me a fortune. And yeah he's a bonny ladd isn't he thanks for watching
Nothing beats the feeling of freedom you get from exploring the great outdoors. This video transports me back to the sense of adventure I felt on my recent camping trip.
We did the same route as you about 3 years ago for Mrs Metalmans birthday but we did it in reverse as neither one of us fancied all those steps going up to Malham Cove. That weather looked typical for the year we have been getting so far, cheers Alan
Your winter camping escapade is truly inspiring! It instantly brought back memories of my recent snowy retreat in the mountains. Thank you for capturing the essence of winter adventure so beautifully. Loved the video and subscribed!
