👍 it’s called rinse, spray it on a wet car leave it for a couple of minutes the rinse off, it leaves a nice glossy film on the car and reduces water spots It’s a product from a friend of mine who’s a detailer I use most of his stuff it really good Here’s a link to all his products www.pro-detailukshop.com/
Great job. Fascinating insight into the processes you used to try to make the finish as OEM as possible. One question, where is your business? Can’t find your contact details anywhere online!!!
Hi Jason, you did a good job on livening up the BM mate it looks so much better than when you first got the car, it just shows what you can do to a car without spending a lot of money at home as all you need is time and s bit of hard work, it's a shame about the roof but I recon it would cost a small fortune to get it replaced🤔 I have a Merc SLK and the hard top on that car is very nice but it did go wrong a couple of weeks back, the central locking the roof and the alarm started playing up but I found out it's a common fault that the batteries in the alarm start leaking that fries the circuit board I removed the alarm and it cured all the problems 🤷♂😂 If that BMW was mine I would keep it and possibly see about getting the roof replaced👌👍
Nice Jay, back in the day my salvage cars went to mot after panel/paint work then over to "Mark" as it meant I could get on with putting one on the dozer. Only thing I kept in the work shop was 3m hand glaze as in the 90's the products were awash with silicone so for the 35quid Mark charged my little shop was fisheye free lol Nice channel
From one painter to another how do you get involved with buying from bca and where do you advertise them kind regards Ian .ps quite interested in doing a couple my self like yourself it’s just enjoyable to do the transformation, keep up the good work great content always 👍👍👍
😂 i bet they were mint , I know what you mean its easy to get carried away as if it your own car but thats a good thing i suppose when your doing them yourself and not paying for someone to tidy them up you can make the effort as its only costing your time , when i see other traders cars i think I'm going over the top look at the state of their cars and they manage to sell them
Cheers, for the work cars i use a Autoglym trade wax thats been around for years its good stuff and really easy to use, for my own stuff i usually ceramic coat them with Gtechniq stuff
Great job Jason and Reece. Brilliant turn around, from where it was. Just go’s to show with a bit of graft you can polish £ into cars. Thanks for sharing mate. Cheers Vince.
Cheers, I think there might be a aftermarket option I did speak to bmw and you can buy a new canvas it’s not to expensive but it’s a lot of work to change and tbh it’s not that bad, if it was leaking then i would change it
I really enjoyed this little series, nice job!. While I do like your painting videos, for me there is something special about seeing a pretty rough example of a nice car, and seeing how it can look after it's transformation. Regardless of the content, I'll carry on watching your videos, as you come across as a very humble ( I know it's in the channel name haha) but also a nice likeable genuine guy. You are getting better in front of the camera in every video and deserve many more subscribers than you have. Keep putting out the content and I'm sure they will come
@@bigusdicus3677 thank you that’s very kind of you really appreciate it, I know you can’t call yourself humble as that means you’re not but I do try every day to keep myself humble and I thank god for everything i have received Have a blessed day 🙏
Wow that car looks really nice now J you turned into a little gem ! Amazing how good that leather paint turned out I was very impressed with that . I wish I still had mine now it was a fun car at the time ..nice job 👍
NICE JOB THERE JAY I TAKE THE FRONT SEATS OUT ME AND GET THE LITTLE HENRY HOVER TOOL OUT AND GIVE IT A GOOD CLEAN MATE I HAVE THAT AUTO GYM SNOW ❄️ FOAM GOOD STUFF I THINK 🤔
Hi Jason, fantastic result on the blend and the trusty 1.3CC did the business on the clearcoat, I haven't used any glue pulling gear but have a look at the Keco gear mate I've seen quite a few on here like Wayne and Tony using it, their glues are fantastic and one demo I saw they actually moved a car with just a small pad glued to it, it seems like the trick is all in the temps mate if you have the glue and the panel at the right temp then it sticks 10 times better. There are loads of videos on here with people like I mentioned about using them and even demos by the manufactures showing how it's used👌👍
HI JAY GOOD VIDEO THAT DID YOU SAND THAT PRIMER DOWN MATE AND THAT STUFF WHAT YOU FIRST PUT ON IS THAT MIPA BLEND ADDITIVE THEN BASE AND CLEAR COAT JAY WHEN I GOME TO DO MY FORD FOCUS MK3 TITANIUM X FRONT BONNET AND BUMPER MATE OK TO DA SANDER THE BONNET WITH 320 GRIT AND THEN 800 GRIT SAME WITH THE BUMPER JAY OR WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND MATE 😊
Cheers Andy, yes it was the blender coat, if you sand with 320 grit first you would need to got to 500 grit next then i would 600 grit to finish if your putting base coat on it, 800 grit would be ok for clear coat
