As a bonafide Music Nut, I'll be covering music and media oriented subjects.

The Neat Beat Zone started as a dedicated Beatle channel and will still include a look at the solo work of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Other artists and era's will be added.

George was always a whiner ...biggest hypocrite of them all. Loved his wealth from the fans but didn't want to be bothered by them. Huge womanizer...not very nice in my own opinion

Without Paul; George is just some random broke guitarist in England playing dive bars at age 50. Sad George never understood how privileged and lucky he was.

John & Yoko were 100% in love. Paul even said that John needed someone who would stimulate his mind and shake him up. "Cynthia wanted a man who she could bring his pipe and slippers to and that would be that. John just wasn't that kind of guy." Nailed it in one

Meanwhile, they split up completely for a time after this and then after Sean was born settled into a reverse "traditional" lifestyle where John stayed home with Sean and Yoko went out everyday to do the business stuff. Ironically it seems it was Paul and Linda that ended up spending all their time together making music and raising a large family.

Interesting fact - George's original idea for his song was 'While My Sitar Gently Weeps'. John suggested he use the word 'guitar', and that's how it played out.

Nobody was quite as complete a complainer as George. He was a lot like Roger Waters and Pete Townsend: he never saw a problem with his elevation to the ranks of "rock god" that he couldn't blame on someone else.

Love the Beatles, but the film was terrible. One of the worst films ever. Only the music videos were worth watching. Paul is immensely gifted but he has a weak spot as a self-critic. This has led to an Extreme variance between his best and worst output. Amazing that a man as brilliantly gifted as Paul could produce cringeworthy thinngs like MMT or Wings Wild Life, or some of his candy floss post-Beatle singles. Bottom line: Paul is one of the greatest popular artists ever.

Yes the showing in black n white on BBC was a huge problem for MMT, but also the notion that it would be family friendly. It wasn't. The Beatles output at that time, apparently unrealized by the band at the time (probably too high and too high on their egos to realize) that their psychedelic stuff was part of a trend at the time and their target audience for that had become even narrower concerning that stuff. Because the mum's and Dad's who had come to like the Beatles music weren't doing drugs like the younger kids were. So MMT was of course missed on quite a lot of people at the time, because it made no sense to people who weren't into the drug culture. It's a druggy film! And they knew it lol So was Yellow Submarine but because it was an animation it was well received by children as a fun cartoon. Which apparently the actual Beatles weren't really impressed with and just saw it as a contractual obligation like Let It Be also became.
