I grew up thinking the NOx (Nation of "Islam") was Islam. After reading the autobiography of Malcolm X, I learned it wasn't. I began to look into Islam and took an interest. From a teenager, I felt Islam was one, true commissioned way of life. At that time, I referred to myself as a Muslim. I hadn't taken my Shahada and really didn't know much. By 1999, I was fasting every Ramadhan. As the years went by, I took a deeper dive into learning Islam. When I did so, I stopped referring to myself as a Muslim. Self-reflection made me realize that I was a hypocrite. October 9th, 2010, I said my Shahada. That was the most liberating day of my life.

Example: The Shaitan told a Sahabi (R.A) of Ayatul-Qursi, that if you recite it before sleeping you would be protected by a guard Angel. From this we can draw, that we can learn good things even from bad people, Shaitan when telling about Ayatul-Qursi was in the form of a man, and he was caught stealing then he was the Sahabi (R.A) was bringing him too Prophet (SAW) but he begged and told that he was poor and after then he (shaitan) was caught again, and again, at that time, when Sahabi (R.A) was taking him to the prophet so the Shaitan told the Sahabi, what if I told you a something, that is very beneficial and you'll leave me, so Shaitan told the Sahabi about reciting Ayatul-Qursi at night, and when the Sahabi (R.A) met Prophet (SAW), and told everything, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) told the Sahabi (R.A) that: "Verily, he has told you the truth though he is a liar" and that the man was Shaitan (Satan) Hadith: sunnah.com/riyadussalihin:1020
