What a tune

Yesterday I finished watching the five DVD's that comprise the two series of The Lotus Eaters. It brought back strong memories of my early 20's at the time of its broadcast in 1972/3 UK. I've felt a strong sense of loss, or withdrawal following it's conclusion yesterday. My happy carefree days relived briefly! Erik and Ann Shepherd, and Nestor Turton will stay with me forever, I guess. Thanks for posting the music here. I'll be in Crete in a few week's time, and plan to explore Aghios Nikolaos, and the quayside near 'Shepherd's Cafe'. Garry Jones, Wales

I have to take issue with your description of the show. They were _Upper_ middle class families and a large number of the fathers were chartered accountants and quantity surveyors. I bet all the children have early retired to Tuscany by now, as well. Snotty little hobgoblins
