Thanks a lot for this! I especially appreciate the tip on not using an oil-based lubricant like WD-40 since that's what I originally used on a deadbolt cylinder fresh out of the package and that caused the sticking when trying to lock and unlock with a key. Hence, I washed it in hot soapy water to remove all the oil and dried it. Then even after that I found out that the bolt was hitting the strike in the wrong place. I had to file it down quite a bit on one side. Works great now.
Boa tarde. Fiz várias fórmulas para tirar o silicone. O melhor foi amolar muito bem uma espátula e foi muito rápido e eficiente. Faz isso e deixa de seguir estes caras. Fique com Deus.
I paid $50 for a repair at the service center, and the same problem appeared again a year later. This time, I watched the video and did the repair myself, and it worked fine. ^^ Thank you.
you are right in this video, that cleaning the microphone helps, but they work a bit like covering your ears, the more you remove your hands from your ears, the more you hear, but what actually happens over time as the microphone cloggs up, is the processor increases the microphone volume to counteract the not being able to hear properly. and then you get the feedback from the speakers creating a loop with the microphone, and it is the feedback loop of the speakers being picked up by the microphone that causes the screaching just like hearing aids turned up too loud, or being at a kareoke and pointing the microphone or turning up the microphone close to the speakers.
I followed you advice but since à I didn’t want to wait overnight I sprayed the filter with oven cleaner and put it right back to it’s place. Worked instantly. I rinsed it then filled the tank with vinegar and water and let the whole tank go trough. Worked perfectly.
Exact same issue with mine. I've had mine for about 7 months, bought brand new from BB. Sony repair wants $90 (flat fee) + $20 (shipping back) + $Parts to repair something I've had for about 7months of normal usage. Trying this because it looks like it works great
I also had this ringing sound, and it drove me nuts. I saw the microphone had some green deposit, around where it was soldered onto the microphone. Cleaned it up with nailpolish remover on a q-tip (alcohol is preferred, but I didn't have that at hand), and the problem was solved!
Hi, I got my new paire of headphones XM5 juste 3 days ago, but I feel like the left ear on the headphones are tighter which is good but for the right ear I feel it less tighter, and that is bothering me, please you have a solution or you know the problem where is came Fromm ??
If u don’t figure it out there going to break I had this problem and they just broke yesterday plz plz plz take them somewhere before they break Sony going to charge u almost the price of the damn headphones for them to fix theme
it's likely you just adjusted the wires and shifted them when you took it apart. dust doesn't result in audio interference. If i had to guess, it's likely the issue returned but this video wouldn't capture that. and for many others saying it worked that's also possibly true. though a short can be resolved long term if you twist a wire corretly but more than likely it'll be back
A really helpful post, well described and a good pace, plus some very good comments. I will definitely try this on my damaged door. I will check the suitability of my contact adhesive, which in the UK is often Evostick. One question though: was there a reason why, having built up the layers with undercoat (very sensible), you didn't put some gloss on top? Thankfully my door is white so I don't have to colour-match your ivory!
The MOST important place to look and clean is the UNDERSIDE those little grey/white microphone covers. You will no doubt find a thick coating of skin oil/ear wax that has evaporated and condensed there (also clean the mic of this greasy layer) One extra think I did, that I don't know is beneficial is I wrapped the mic circumference in a very small strip of tape. I was thinking that being directly pressed into the hard plastic mounts might lead to vibration and tape might ease that)
I've had the WH-H910N headphones for two years and I was listening a loud wind noise from the right side. I removed both ear cups and cleanned the ANC mic, oh god what a difference that made. They sound like brand new! Thanks a Lot!!
I just repaired the headband of a pair of Gold Wireless, the 2017 model. I can't believe the amount of Sony headsets that present issues after the years, I'm never going to buy one ever again. Fuck Sony really.
That is crazy that they didn't design this the proper way to stop over flowing!, you sir are smarter then the designers!!! Love the gentle kitty sound in the background!! :::)))
Not casual guess people who are looking to buy a home of course they examine the cabinets but people coming into your home and not inspecting your cabinets.
I have a deadbolt with keys on both side s. The inside works fine with the key but outside doesn’t. I think a friend might have damaged it forcing a wrong key but not sure. What should I do?
