This was great so I got 54% CTR on my first 1 minute video and got 63 views / my second vid was 44% CTR and after 1 day 18 views - what can I make of this? Cheers
Started this channel in 2020 and I have 47K subs. I use to get 1K-10K views but now I barely get 100. I got 4.3K impressions on a video I posted 2 days ago but only got 210 views. I post weekly, almost daily and I've never taken a break longer than a few months, I've posted almost 4,000 videos. It's been the same niche the entire time and I've updated the quality of everything from thumbnails, titles, tags and video quality. I'm thinking of starting a new channel, should I?
Thanks really useful video - so frustrating the way it works would probably just be better for me to start a new channel. How long do you think it would take to turn the scales and get a new audience? I feel like I'm making good content (I think at least), but the CTR is very low as it's getting pushed out to my old subscribers who subscribed for different content.

This is still quite manual. Not for me. Also, why do people say, "Shoot for the moon and at least you'll hit the stars". Stars are a million miles further away than the moon.

My channel has 23000 subscribers but I switched my niche after 1 year of break and the view count decreased. Now I am thinking to repost the same content on new channel. Worth ?
Subscribers is a dead metric - I never asked verbally anyone to subscribe still I got 800 subscribers- and only 60 to 70 watch my content - nothing personal here - I am not watching any of the content which i subscribed to as I got busy - the same applies to them
In video charge you extra time for the whole video without even having downloaded it . I asked them how should we fix a video, they answered it is what is 😂. So you loose at least 30% of your time for fixing the mistakes their ai makes.
9 month i start shorts and i upload long vedio next its gets 15 imprestion in 25 hours when i stopped youtube shorts after 6 month my long vedio start growth so guys dont do shorts and long vedio on one channel ❤ thats a advice

lol you only started 4 days ago and have 4 videos. YT is not get rich quick. there are strategies and ways to improve results (such as getting training). But it takes time. Though you really need to improve the quality of your videos, one I quickly checked didn't start for 6 seconds, no one will watch that. The days of low effort faceless videos are over, focus on really making videos that help people. YT may not even monetise this.
What do you think? I’m planning to start a faceless travel account on RU-vid using InVideo or Pictory. However, when I tried exporting a video on the trial version, the quality was very low. Is this the quality people usually post on RU-vid, or will it improve once I upload it to the platform? I’m also open to any alternatives, advice, or tips you might have.
Honestly? This is a bad idea. I hear from so many people wanting to start a travel channel. So, there are tons of low quality faceless channels out there now. even with a paid account you need to improve the quality with some editing before uploading if you want to be monetised. Focus on creating videos that actually help people. The days of low effort/quality faceless videos are over, don't waste your time if this is your plan. Don't be generic, fix problems, answer questions, offer value. Good luck
I deleted all my old video when I tried to change niche, and it caused my channel deranked and my subscribers decrease no much view like before, but gradually my channel regrowing.

I made a gaming channel in 2019 where I used to post videos related to PubG and other games & at that time I had around 500 subs but then I stopped uploading videos on it & now I’ve started to upload videos again, so I’ve changed the name, logo, banner etc everything, also I’ve made old videos private.. now I upload videos related to a different game & now I’m thinking to live stream on it.. so what do you suggest should I make a new or should I continue with this one only ?? By the Way I still have around 490 subs on this & since my niche is basically the same so I think continuing with this one would be a better option.
Unless those subs are active they won't help you and private videos don't count towards your watchtime. As it's an old dead, small channel and you are changing niche. I would probably start again. The subs are just vanity metrics.
I have 104k subs. I paused uploading for 2 years. I returned last year but I get few views which is killing me. The old videos got 400k views. The new ones up to 900 max. And sometimes just 60. Title, thumbnail, description and content are great. Is it better to rebrand it or create a new one?
If it’s the same content keep going, if not you will have to decide. But old channels take time to be brought back to life, almost as much as starting a new one. But over 100k subs is probably worth the effort
Sorry I cannot comment on individual clips or what is and isn’t copyright protected. You have to repurpose and use under fair use, otherwise technically it’s not.
That’s exactly how I feel about subscribers. I don’t think they need to subscribe because RU-vid will keep feeding them your content if they like it. Problem is there’s you need 1000 subs do get monetized
My sister posts movie clips on her channel and her videos has been getting lots of views and she hasn't gotten any copyright claim so far, she is worried that the channel might not get monitized. What do you think?
I have a real problem with computer generated voices, but it’s mostly because it’s a sign of low overall effort. They pronounce words incorrectly, there’s weird glitches in the voice that interrupt the flow or makes it sound artificial. And typically there’s accompanying subtitles that are also wrong. And I just know it’s some indian or russian on the other end with really bad English trying to get global views. It’s godawful. Just embarrassingly low grade garbage, guaranteed to lower everyones intelligence. And it can get even worse, like false made-up narratives or straight up stolen material. I’m sure this channel is alright, but we’ve all seen these ones I’m talking about

Instead of looking at competitor channels, are there other ways to find the most popular videos on a specific topic, for example, in the last 2 years? For example, the most popular personal development videos, the most popular history videos etc... Or would it be enough to choose the videos that RU-vid lists itself?
Yes there are many great ways to research videos. But not ways I could answer here in a comment. But many of the research tools do this in different ways.
People subscribe to my channel because of my inspirational music primarily, I also share my life experiences through talks and spiritual wisdom. Now that I shaved my head bald the 3 shorts I put up have gotten more views and comments in the last day then a couple of weeks worth of videos. Seems like they are interested in my hair journey and restoration. Should I just rebrand to include the hair health along with my music and spiritual inspiration?
Most RU-vid channels I subscribe to are storiies about cryptids or supernatural horror. For 3 or 4 years I’ve listened to go to sleep and they play throughout the night. If there’s any video at all, it’s usually just a loop of forest scenes. It’s all about narration. For the last couple of years, some of my once favorite channels have been using cheap, crappy AI narration that sounds like a third grader reading out loud. Click! Unsubscribe! Gone. Sometimes I leave a comment but usually not. There’s a female narrator several channels are using who persistently makes stupid mistakes like saying “Eckart Serra” for “et cetera.” Is she AI or marginally literate? I don’t care. Either way, I’m gone. My point is: If I can’t tell a voice is AI, I’m not going to complain about it or unsubscribe. It’s really that simple. No matter how good a story it is. In fact, the better a story is, the more jarring mispronunciations and awkward speech patterns shatter the mood. My favorite channels right now are Dixie Cryprid and Buckeye Bigfoot. Compare their numbers with channels that use AI. I should offer my services as a professional listener to screen for crappy AI. I wonder how much my services would be worth? 😊
