you said to go no deeper than 1/4 inch for a score, I'm wondering if this is dependant on the type of paver concrete you are cutting I have also been told 1/3 or 1/4 entire depth of the paver to ensure proper release as it breaks away.
Awesome! Where can I find those angle brackets for outer conner and anchor slide (from 0:30 to 0:47 second)? They don't appear to be processing my order. Different brackets were delivered with my order. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
How do you keep water from seeping thru the seams? Does it need to be sealed? In a planter, will the stainless steel eventually rust and cause the walls to collapse?
The planter does not require to be sealed. It is similar to any retaining wall construction that retains soil. You can always add a geotextile fabric (landscape fabric) against the walls throughout the interior of the planter to prevent soil from running out as suggested in the installation guides. Water should be allowed to pass through - as you don’t want it filling up the interior and rotting out the plant roots. Also, the stainless steel brackets will not rust out and will have a superior lifespan to any galvanized solution such as fence posts and other steel structures used in soil conditions.
So, now BELGARD is making "Kits for Idiots?" Great idea, but most Distributors are adding an additional 20-40% atop of BELGARDS RSRP... I use BELGARD Mason Blocks instead, as my 10'×24'×2' bed only cost me about $250. Still standing and absolutely beautiful!
Have LED Pillar Lights been created yet? The lights we have were installed terribly underground with no wiring protection in our back lawn. The roots destroyed all of the wiring and they no longer work.
