The center latch button is what quit for me. I have no idea if the switch broke or if something it’s connected to quit. It’s probably the electrical system.
Suggestions to anyone buying an old XB. DON'T yank the handle and, if you can, lift the latch with one hand, and the bottom of the hatch with the other at the same time. Of course, I have mine attached with JB Weld and also some black gorilla tape (car is dark blue). Love the car though, still have it in '24 with 181K miles.
Can you totally balance a tire with that label on the tire. I know the label has no weight at all, and the air dragging on one part of the tire is non existent. But?
They always said that mimicry was the greatest form of flattery, and to be fair. Toyota copying the Ford Mustang is definitely this as although it looks like a direct copy it was itself its own car, with its own performance and had a good number of followers and to this day the car is beloved. Its ironic then that in a strange way, Toyota accidently created the actual Ford Pinto. Fords Pinto was a disaster of a economic car when it came out. Concept designs showed it to be pretty much a more economical mustang. Yet they screwed up the design and cut cost essentially making it a Gremlin and poorer performing than the gremlin. Yet here is a Toyota that pretty much embraces the muscle car legacy of the Ford Mustang.
Best car series on the net, followed all and love the Conquest. Added 1” spacers to my 88 Conquest. “F the haters, this s-t is awesome” (I love that quote).
Well 3 years now! can i get a quick reply this time with a hello and if you still have the car, are you still in Hawaii? thx have a good one bro @n0eLoL

Recently fitted a 185/60 on a 13x10. Then swapped to a 195/50 Thought it'd be funny to try a 165/60 and it inflated, but couldn't get fully stretched to both beads. So a 165/65 may be the absolute limit for a simple fire on stretch on the 13x10
@n0eLol Noticed the JBPHH on the cheetah. Shot in the dark, but would you be able to help stretch a tire that I'm going to mount onto a ruckus? If you are still around of course.
