This is a very good video. You did very kid friendly I mean, private friendly, but I still will not use the snake I prefer the cleaning rod very good video
This is the best overview of the Ranger that I have seen - and I'm only halfway through. Will have to watch your explanation of the touch screen again to grasp all you are telling me. Enjoyed a couple of your other videos also, so I'm subscribing now. Looking forward to more.
I am just starting down this road of dehydrated meals but I am going the DIY route. You have full control over the meals and ingredients used. Just bought a food Dehydrator and going to start dehydrating stuff from my Garden.
look into the difference between freeze dried and dehydrated foods. That should give you a bunch of fun ideas for things to dehydrate and maybe even learn a diy freeze-dry method too!
Great review thanks so much. If a single person was using this once a day for #2's only how long would it take to fill up? Sorry for the weird question. Just got my first van and looking at different toilet options for a conversion
They say camp chef is made from 10 gauge door and top, rest 12. this is apparently all 12, so I do not think it is more heavy duty. I do like the compact size, and possibly better construction.
If I understand correctly you have to remove the wick from the looped hole on every unwrap. Seems flawed to me. I simply take a punctured bicycle inner tube you can get for free at your local bike shop and cut ranger bands from it at varying lengths. Cover the hemp wick with it and it will unwind very nicely without the need of rethreading through the hole on every unwrap. I have two layers of hemp wick for maximum storage of tinder. Also add 4-5 wraps of gorilla tape to the bottom. I also mix some epoxy with luminescent powder and apply to the bottom of the lighter while also casting in some microcord for a lanyard. I temporarily plug the fill hole for refilling in the future. You now have a emergency fire source with user friendly tinder of two types, luminescent in case of loss in the woods when dark, lanyard for whipping if Bic becomes wet or simply for hanging or whatever and a ranger band to secure and protect. Hope you find this info useful. Thanks for posting video.
Guessing to take the door off is same as others just with a quick power clip like your plow angle one. Getting one of these this week and will be lauching and pulling boats with it. Dont want the front door on to do it.
I made something similar with ordinary kitchen matches and wax - I light them with a Bic lighter, it saves the lighter and they burn a good amount of time.
Great tin guys. Some different ideas than the normal. Never thought of a basic lock pick set.im in the UK and obligations we have extremely tight rules carrying any kind of fixed or locking blades however small. You also have to provide an explanation for carrying lock picks but I think you're OK as part of an emergency kit ? Good video. Best wishes from England 👍
Oh man, I was on the fence and I’m seeing that 4Patriots has too many negatives. I never even knew Mountain House existed. I’ll be getting a 1 year supply for the 4 of us in my family. That should give us 4 a guaranteed 2-3 months supply.
Wow! Thank you for making this video! Not only is it well done, but you thoroughly thought through every step and explained it well. Thank you for making this and showing us so many great ideas. You just gained another follower!
Mountain House all day long. All the meals in 4Patriots tastes like crap. I fell for the 4Patriots hype and bought a couple containers, but when I finally ate them! Yuk!😂
There are sveral brands of strike anywhere stormproof matches on the market and you can make your own with kitchen matches, ring caps for toy cap guns, a few drops of wood glue and some wax. Maybe do a little Google search and learn something
You really should not use straw for your chickens. Straw gets moldy when wet and can cause lung disease in chickens and humans. Please wear a mask when handling straw if you continue to use it. But I recommend pine straw as an alternate. Or wood chips. NOT CEDAR Shavings.
We corrected our mistake, we DONT USE CEDAR shavings. Only straw and pine shavings. Thanks for your comment and for watching. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.
Holding up well. I weigh 230 and have slept on the top bunk with no issues, yes the cots move a bit but hold up well. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.
Excellent video very informative thank you! I wanted to touch base on the Ranger doors quickly. We had issues with the metal hinges bending because that factory rubber strap wasn't strong enough in the wind and the doors would flail all the way back. We put Flatlander Offroad struts/brackets on and they've been great!
Great idea and Glad it helped. I have had some issues with the front doors swinging back hard on inlines as well. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.
When it comes to 4patriots, 'where's the beef?' IMHO, they are nowhere close to Mountain House. You get what you pay for. Freeze Dry Wholesalers is the best!
You should have taken advantage of the beautiful view comment by your wife and told her something was missing. When she asks what, tell her to walk out on the deck and stand in front of the window and then proceed to say now it's a beautiful view.
