Yes , I'm not Rick , but I know that John Helliwell clearly stated in an interview that Roger had no right to advertise himself and his tours as " Voice of Supertramp " . Otherwise there was a written agreement with 600 pages and Rick ( or Supertramp'smanagement ) did not break it , that's why Roger's management never had any possibility to took this matter to court. The biggest misunderstanding among the fans ( because of Roger's words ) that Rick had to give or promise anything to Roger in order to use Supertamp's name . The fact is Rick had every rights to do it as a founder and could continue it with the rest of the band members. Roger quit , that 's all .There were some lawsuits over the years , per example about the royaltie fees , the last one when Roger stopped to pay the royalties fees for the former band members . Dougie, John and Bob sued him . Roger won it , but the band members were very dissapointed and probably they have a totally other opinion about Roger's integrity . Rick paid them , so they did not sue Rick . So many details , difficult stories , it is not " black or white " story at all .

Just pls try to imagine that every tribute or cover band can play any Supertramp song only the original band can not do it. Sorry, but it is surreal. Rick , John had a big hand in these songs , pls listen to Rick solos in School or Child of vision or any legendary sax solos from John. It is not a suprise that there was no any writtem agreement about it because it was a surreal expectation from Roger. It is not a black or white story. I read many interviews , but not only with Roger because he repeats only his aspect . As I mentioned the biggest misleading when Roger said I gave the name to Rick. Big NO. Rick as a founder and leader could continue the Supertramp , and 4 of 5 band members stayed together. Roger is brilliant musician but his words are very bad for me because I see egoist and narcistist person who is totally disrespectful with his band members , tried the overwrite the band history , downgraded Rick and all band members , and after several decades of his departure he is just speaking about Supertramp instead of making new music His last album released 24 years ago , he was only 51 years old then. This my opinion , and anybody has a right to disagree with it. Do not worry my english ia also not perfect , so I 'm triying to practice it , per example writting comments.

@@mich05e If not, then they have been educated in English or have been around English speakers for many years. They have very little accent. I am from Mexico so I know a bit about how they are speaking. They talk like Americanas. This is btw a compliment.

@@9344music5 Yo también soy mexicana y norteña. Según lo que ellas han dicho es que estudiaron en un colegio bilingüe desde pequeñas. Más nunca han vivido permanentemente en algún país anglo. Tienes razón, la clave para hablar un inglés fluido con acento mínimo es rodearnos de personas que hablen ese idioma y de muchísimo contenido. Mi inglés también es bueno, hablo un nivel C1 y nunca viví en Estados Unidos. Me mudé apenas hace un par de años. A lo que quiero llegar con esto es, el dominio y buena pronunciación del inglés no es exclusiva de las personas que viven E.U. Ayuda muchísimo, pero creo que más que nada, las tres son personas muy brillantes y con mucha capacidad de retención. Saludos 🙂

@@mich05e Si, como tu dices, han sido rodeadas de personas que hablan Ingles, y se nota. Pero no deja de ser raro que ellas hablen ese nivel de Ingles sin haber vivido en EU o en otro pais donde se hable. Pero con estas chicas, nada es raro. Son como las tres caricaturas "Power Puff Girls" que eran muy famosas hace como 20 anos aqui en EU. Gracias por la info no sabia como habian aprendido Ingles con tan poquito accento.
