i need help i want to use the feature of plug and play - it sounds simple to do it but mine are not working it says offline camera network disconected why do you have yours connected to the blue cable and different port? what is that for?

Would you recommend these for unfinished attics & garage spaces? I am looking for a device that will alert me & everyone throughout the house if there is ever a fire in an unfinished garage or attic, where there is dusty insulation and the temperatures are naturally very hot in the summers. I live in phoenix az & attic temps rise to around 140-150F during daylight. The issue I've found with all other alarms on the market is that attic insulation dust sets off false alarms with smoke detectors. So it is generally recommended that heat detectors be placed up there instead, but i have yet to find a heat detector that i can wirelessly interconnect with an alarm system throughout the interior of the house.

The ajax fibra line would have been maybe the better choice here, as additionally inserted cables don't need to be hidden in the walls and the security being significantly higher,
I think all this is going to be gone in the next 5 years. Everyone wants to go to mobile credentials. This is where an app in your phone sends your ID via NFC to the door reader. No more cards to get lost (only phone to get lost). Major advantage: if phone is locked, someone can't use your phone to open the door, unlike if you drop your access card in the parking lot. Encryption can be updated at any time.
I have never attempted to upgrade SQL on top of an existing installation. This would probably work fine but so far, when in need to use a newer SQL version, we simply do a fresh install of SQL and restored the main and event databases for GX. Then install the GX software to detect the databases and upgrade them if the GX software is newer.
Is there a way to update the camera system without actually replacing the nvr. I have a 32 channel nvr and having issues with no video on almost half .
I use a reolink nvr system. The issue I'm having is... my upstairs I see 4 cameras to have a 360 around my house. I want to just use only the door camera on a monitor down stairs.
