@Joejoes1276 as long as I know I'm getting paid, weekly at that rate, corporations have too many loopholes to not honoring contracts, my grind ain't for free, or empty corporate promises
The thing is you will work 100 hours a week and you won't make anywhere near a million because when your gross is that high the government is taking half. Thanks for putting in the hours! - Uncle Sam. The harder you work the deeper his hand is in your pocket. Props for paying people right though.
Very true - this is referring to gross income of $1M+, but if the proposition was netting $1M you would be right, definitely an even higher ceiling you have to stretch for.
@@chicagovilardo guys work crazies hours but the pay and pay periods are usually advantageous to the companies. Wages are predicated on guys getting most of their hours in OT. Also, pay periods are split so the beginning of a new pay period may fall on the third or fourth day after your start so the week starts over negating what would otherwise be more OT. It's confusing on purpose. In the end, guys make more than they normally would in their respective small towns so they take whatever they can get. Many jobs hover around $100k/yr
Have a friend whose company is hiring on the transition out of startup. Got several FAANG type peeps. Lots of missed deadlines, work wasn't great, everyone expecting major comp upgrades.
Yes my best friend is at FAANG. Huge fan of his, he knows how I feel though. FAANG + Consulting bring very little skills. Investment banking + Startups are the places to hire from. Tons of skills and grit!
It shows that you have a good work ethic. And it shows commitment and it shows that your good at getting things done on time. It shows a lot of things. Degrees for the most part stupid and put you in debt but there are certain things that you need to be and have for you to get a degree
@@chicagovilardo I wouldnt really say they teach you discipline. You should already know discipline by that time but I think its more like a proof of it for an employer to see. Like experience in a previous job. If you were with a company for 10 years and that business just falls apart or you move away. You'll have no problem getting the same kinds job with that amount of time in one place. Shows reliability
The paper is worthless, but depending on the degree, the training, networking and opportunities are valuable. I'm a software engineer, was headhunted prior to graduating and never bothered to graduate despite completing the degree.
"...never bothered to graduate despite completing the degree." What are you even talking about you clown. If you completed the degree, you've graduated. Maybe you code better than you write. I got a BA in business and got into finance/accounting/data analysis. I make a bit over $200k a year with 14 years experience. All with this "useless college degree" clowns are yapping about.
I completely agree^ it’s what you make out of the opportunity that’s important. Many people think the actual paper will be life changing but that is not so.
He's got some legit skills, especially handling the ball but he wouldnt make the NBA. He's too small and not got enough ability to make up for his size. He'd likely get bodied in college, let alone the league.
Using sports to get into college is a legitimate strategy, but it’s not easy. For all the student athletes or former athletes out there, what are your TIPS? ✔️
It's great that you're aware of this issue and actively working on finding a solution to improve your sleep habits and overall energy levels throughout the day!
Your future is not guaranteed. Death comes for all, but it rarely comes knocking on your door. Don’t eat the lotus. But taking a moment to smell the roses won’t hurt.
Hahahahahahahaha that's definitely a lie. Alpha rubbish. Most CEOs don't "boast" on RU-vid, they are too busy working, they don't have time to lie in social media. 😂😂😂😂 Losers
You know how it goes, when you're starting to pick up a new language, those are often the more 'interesting' vocabulary words that stick in your mind first. But hey, it's all part of the language learning process, right? What were the first Spanish words or phrases you picked up? Share in the comments! ⬇️
