Great review and delivery. Edutainment. The analogies and description are spot on ("utility of a bag sewn into a jacket" "pockets I never knew I needed...turn your jacket into a lounge chair...T-Rex British gentleman" "something made to be a tool and somehow became luxury Rolex"). Loved the dry humor ("pockets perfect because I always keep bags of water on me" "Barbour gotch you" - said by no one at heritage HQ. "Do your own research but know 'it big'"). Perfect understandable, relatable summary with wanting a patchy Barbour...that's exactly what this jacket is. It has history, character, is trusted, utilitarian, sustainable, understated luxury (Rolex Explorer I please). Well done. (Is that a Nakashima coffee table?)
Thank you! That table was made by me with the help of Matt Castilleja - he did the hard part; the legs. Definitely inspired though (I was on a big Nakashima kick at the time) mattcastilleja.com
I don’t think this is a “laughing” matter. He might seem funny but he should’ve be more serious about this. It’s a bit embarrassing. I came here to see the reviews on Mudwatter due to me wanting to quit regular coffee for health issues, and seeing this video really disappointed me.
My first was a 2014 one that i had for two years, last year bought a newish 2021 model and its still a beauty. They call this the last car in our country. As in, the last car you will need to buy! Greetings from 🇿🇦
@@waldorph2000 upgrading to the final facelift of the 200 series is likely my next car. Any notable differences in ride quality or anything else that’s a standout upgrade from your 2014?
@@dominicscalise yes! Surprisingly it is much more powerful and faster especially when you press the power button. Seat ventilation also works better. There are speakers in the rear boot lid which means you can hear your music better when sitting on the split tail gate. But you also learn that all 200’s regardless of year are pretty amazing and you cant go wrong to buy one :)
I've had my explorer on a NATO for a while now. This video convinced me to put it back onto the oyster bracelet. Momma told me that I shouldn't follow people on the internet 😩 I have failed you mother.
I've had mine keyed on both sides, tires flattened, egged and left little notes with something about my mother.🤬😤😡 JEALOUS!!!!!! NAAHHH, I DONT THINK SO.😂😂😂😂😂
@@dominicscalise Hey what about your Alden tassel loafer are true size Im 7.5 M and i got the Indy 6.5 and fit perfect! you need to do a video about the Alden tassel loafer
@@dominicscalise ☹️. Cruel world. I really REALLY want a 2016 G Wagon, and, am on the cusp of doing the deal…. ….I like unique/schmancy things, always have. Been like this since grade school. ….I have the G550 bug, and really want to pull the trigger. On one hand, I couldn’t be bothered by other peoples judgements, on the other, I’d hate to make myself a target…. …you are literally the most eloquent and entertaining person that I’ve event seen across the interwebs btw. I hope you blow up, and believe that you will. Enjoy the journey to a billion followers good sir! 🎩 💫
@@Rockandrollaz-d8l Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words! I'd still recommend these -- for car guys, it's worth it. It's such a unique truck; nothing else like it, and I'm glad I got to experience it.
Can you make a new video talking about stuff you use but it wasn’t remarkable because you didn’t make a video on it but now you can’t live without it 😅
The fact that the originals in the 80’s were built like this i didn’t know that…now i have to own this watch….i just bought a 5600, then bought the 5610u for the upgraded features now this….damn
I've owned my Indy's for more than 20 years, and am on the third, soon to be fourth set of soles. They are bullet proof. I don't give a shit if they have leatherboard midsoles, as they are comfortable, hard wearing and have been riden hard and put away wet for two decades. I have a pair of Alden tassel loafers that I purchased in 1988 and wore daily for many years. Just had them rebuilt and rewelted, and they still look and wear great. Say what you will, these are great boots (and shoes) and have been a tremendous value over many decades.
My original pair are 403s, I also have a pair of 405s, and milkshake suede on wedges, that are both fairly recent purchases. I think of all of them, I actually like the 405s best of all... go figure.
I just watched your review of the ag wagon. I loved it so much that I want to get one. You really made the review so much fun to watch. Excellent delivery! Keep up the great work!!! 👏👍
Santa 33 is my signature scent . . Had a similar experience as you . I tried it a couple years ago and hated it . Tried it again this year and I love the stuff. I always tell people that a nose can grow. My collection consists of pdm Herod, Santal 33, another 13, noir 29, and Valentino uomo intense. Love all of them but Santal 33 was made for me.
You’re 100%, most Rolex owners you encounter in the real world won’t know anything about their watch, but they will know exactly what the paid for it! I too am saving up for your exact 114270 from 2004 also (graduated college then) because although the new 124270 is technically a better watch, I feel like if you buy a new Rolex, you’re buying into the luxury branding and thus all the baggage. But if I can save up and hunt down a good deal on an older reference, it’ll mean more to me as a watch enthusiast. Great video, cheers!
