you really dont have to open the pedals, i had this problem and i sprayed WD-40 on the clutch hole on the pedals from the outside, and the squeaks instantly gone
Thanks for the tutorial, I did the same, however after I put them back I noticed the pedals only go to about 80%. Any idea what I could have done wrong?
@@W1nkey_ I know it's very late, but if anyone sees this comment and has the same problem: I accidentally set my wheel settings to work with a different type of pedals, a setting that wasn't compatible with my set. You have to hold a combination of buttons on the wheel, which you will find in your manual, to fix this. If you look through the manual you will understand. In short, the wheel was set to detect a set of pedals that worked on load cells, instead of being set for hall sensor pedals.
i did this but i used keyboard switch lube since its thicker so it should last a lot longer also for the springs which were squeaky i put wd40 but that might not be a permanent fix since i did notice a build up of hair on the top so you might reapply when needed i will update with any new sounds or issues if there are any
That beginning got me laughing, I exactly found your video due to my wife tapping me on the shoulder while I'm racing in VR and was not too pleased with the squeaking sound whilst trying to sleep. Thanks for the vid. I have some Wahl clipper oil that I hope will do the trick.
Thank you so much sir,i just noticed i had this problem when i was just sitting on my rig pressing the pedals for fun and found out i had this problem as well .looks like this is just what i need🙏
I have a 2012 tiguan and just had the drains cleaned last week. We just had a downpour and the windows fogged up. I just went out and found 3" of water under the spare tire! I am just going to sell it, 3 years of trying to stop this leak and it's ruining the car. Time to get rid of it.
Thanks, man! Got the same issue after over a year of sim driving around. T150 Pro with T3PA pedals. Gas squeaking. Removed the panel but didn't disconnect the wire, just put a few drops of machine oil in those squeaky places & problem solved. Funny, but after reassembling & checking with TM Control Panel, everything works, but without that annoying sound).
This could been a good video but not detailed enough to help any one. Would been nice if you could have showed step by step like removing front pillars
