Is this the evolution When I was a kid back in the 60s we raced go-karts With three and a half horsepower Briggs & Stratton motors, this is real cool to see the younger generation having fun
@@jonesing4life126 we don’t allow brushless setups in our program , it’s hard enough for parents to afford this setup let alone a brushless… These actually go faster than most brushless setups (in a powerwheel )
What would be faster, 27T 550's on 20v tool batteries with a first gear delete or the ML Toys 775s and 4R gear boxes with 40v? My son has a Dune Racer with some 27T 550's and our neighbor just put the 775/40v setup on his Dune Racer. We gotta be faster lol. I ordered a 32p pinion kit for the 550's that has 12T -16T pinions.
Are these motors good for long distances? I have a dune racer that I stretched out the frame so I could fit in it I'm 6 foot tall I put my daughter on my lap and we drive it up and down the road so I need something that can move a lot of weight and last a long time.
I used to have one it was painfuly slow so me and my dad put a drill battery on it and towed a trailer with someone on the back up a bank we chewed the gears
man I would love to have one of those for my nephew, but I know they are probably high and I'm disabled now because of spinebifia and only have one kidney that's going bad on me. but love these videos bud.
@@therealityofit8909 we use it to take the load, we can also wire it that way so the factory pedal never sees any voltage , just competes the ground. In hopes of avoiding having the pedal stick on
@@TrevorsFastLife ok, i will try that.. I’m currently running Dune Racers with Andymark 775 motors on 19T and 23T gearboxes at 29v with 1000w scooter EMCs … I live in the mountains, not trying to drag but struggling to find that sweet spot between torque and speed.. do you think that first gear delete and running dual motors will actually last in a hilly terrain or is it just good for drag racing?… I saw that 40v mustang video you posted and I’m trying to get speeds like that on my dune.. I’m fast, but not that fast.
