Hello friend, I need a help with my AX6s openwrt setup, I think I have messed up some settings, I notice that after assigin lan to static ip and change the subnet to 10.1.1.1, I can't connect to wifi anymore, setting it back to 192.168.1.1 wont fix the problem. Stayus on my phone it says access point temporary full, seems like my phone can't obtain IP. When I connect manually, in my phone settings -> wifi and networks -> advance settings -> I have to manually assign my own ip just to connect
Thanks for the tutorial, very easy to follow. Your English is excellent! Just a note, OpenSSH defaults to SFTP since v9.0, which the SSH server shipped in the stock firmware does not support. Use the `-O` flag with the `scp` command to force the SCP protocol.
Tried that with my ac2100. Need to get rid of padavan and go to stock version. But light doesn't blink orange, it blinks blue. And progress bar doesn't start. Can someone help me?
I did copy and later commands. Router restarted like yours and light is blue on router. I have connected internet cable to router and computer. Connection seems okay but I cannot connect to router ip address, and cannot ping it. What is the problem?
When copying a file, open another terminal (or cmd) and copy, because running scp command from connected terminal(cmd) to router will not be possible. So you need to copy from new window.
I've just bought the international version of the xiaomi ax3000t which doesn't have the dual wan option in the settings. Will it be possible and how to unlock this on the globa version? I've already tried to select anothers region near to china (it blocks you and don't show China for you to choose) and I got nothing :( Last month I've received through aliexpress the chinese version but it didn't work so I asked for refound and now I bought the global version :(
Hello, I am a layman from China. The closed policy makes it difficult for me to accurately understand foreign news. I just bought an ax3000t, but the version is 1.0.84. Can you give me a tutorial on how to install openwrt with the new version using macos system? I am very grateful
Hi! OpenWrt 23.05.4 version got support for Xiaomi AX3000T. Does it make the OpenWrt installation process easier? I decided that from the Xiaomi interface it is enough to select the ... -initramfs-factory.ubi file as a manual update. But .ubi is not supported. Please help me to figure it out. Thanks!
When I want to upload the openwrt image to the router in the tmp directory I always get the error message /usr/bin/dbclient: Warning: failed creating /root/.ssh: Read-only file system
Hey John. I get an error can you help? When trying to install the image into a temporary file I get the following error: Unable to negotiate with 192.168.31.1 port 22: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa scp: Connection closed Any idea? Thanks
Hy i recently got ax3000t issue facing is after connecting to network its light keep turning orange from blue. What could b issue, and also it's not pairing mihome app.
Hello John! How much free space is available after change to this bootloader, and is it stable as the ubi method replacing the mtd8/9 partition? Is it necessary to install adguard home? Pls make a video showing adguard home in this router, showing if the performance is somewhat compromised...
Hello. Sorry it has been a while I can't remember the details. actually i don't use too much of it in my daily life, been away from WiFi networks for a while 😅
How do you know that github account is safe and why that file is the firmware to load to the router ? Where can I get "official" docs to learn about padavan ? Please explain it with a little more detail or give us a link, thank you
After flashing the file openwrt-mediatek-filogic-xiaomi_mi-router-ax3000t-initramfs-factory.ubi and copying nvram commands, I can no longer get an IP from the router, even if set it manually it doesn't work, the led color in router is blue. Is there a way to change the boot sequence without having access to ssh? I want to go back to stock to I can try again. I got the following warning when running ubiformat (firmware=0): root@XiaoQiang:~# ubiformat /dev/mtd9 -y -f /tmp/openwrt-mediatek-filogic-xiaomi_mi-router-ax3000t-initramfs-factory.ubi ubiformat: mtd9 (nand), size 35651584 bytes (34.0 MiB), 272 eraseblocks of 131072 bytes (128.0 KiB), min. My AX3000t is restarting in a loop regardless of the image loaded. I don't know if this is the cause of the problem but I installed the file "mt7981_ax3000t-fip-fixed-parts.bin" from Release 20240123 instead of the "mt7981_ax3000t-fip-fixed-parts-multi-layout.bin" from Release 20231124 used in video. I would appreciate it if anyone knows what to do.
I accessed the Uboot update mode via 192.168.x.1/uboot.html, loaded the old release 20231124 used in the video and then managed to load the image successfully.
@@john666mactavish, thanks. I accessed the Uboot update mode via 192.168.x.1/uboot.html, loaded the old release 20231124 used in the video and then managed to load the image successfully. :)
