Fantastic! Thank you for showing this so clearly. Can you use the blunt end to push through, so the pointed end doesn't make a hole in the fabric? I've had my old rouleau turner for over 30 years so I think I'm overdue a new one LOL. Ordered the 3 piece set, looking forward to making straps much easier from now as my old gadget no longer works properly.

Hi I have the same embroidery machine ( Janome 500E) thank you for the information. Can you please tell me the name of the thread 🧵 again that the machine loves. I’m very new to embroidery and when I brought my machine I brought a thread pack from Amazon, but it was the brother brand and my machine doesn’t like it very much. ( as I keep getting thread brakes and clogging) thank you again 😊
I’m new to embroidery and just got this machine. I’m having trouble. While stitching out my design the bobbing thread keeps showing through the top I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Please help 🧵🧵 😭😭😭
Cynthia Pridham thank you. I believe that was my problem. I retreaded and things are looking much better. Now I just need to focus on hooping tight enough. 😊
Im new to Embroidery, i have just purchased the 550e i have watched your video and you give the instructions so precise that i think i could do this, before i put the back material on would i be able to put a small bit of stuffing in which has a drop of essential oils on it? so it makes a thing to hang up in the wardrobe? Thank you for your instructions x
I just got my new 500e and I can’t figure out how to use the threader can’t use the instructions book not very clear could you possibly show how to use the auto threader thanks
I also struggle with the auto feeder. Is it possible to do a video on that for us please. I really struggle and that really makes me reluctant to use this machine.
Hi just wondering if you or anyone can help our machine is identical to the one in your video, Ours is coming up with thread break constantly we can’t get anything done it’s seems not to be picking any spool thread up. Any help would be great
Hello, Have you noticed the formation of loose stitches when embroidering letters? I bought my mother such an embroidery machine for Christmas and when embroidering, for example, the letters "B" with a built-in Script font, random loops are formed on the upper thread and I have no idea how to fix it. Of course, with different rounded letters and fonts such a problem arises. We use Madeira's thread. Thanks in advance for your reply and best regards :)
Hi, it took me a little while to figure out what my machine likes and does not like. They can all be quite fussy. Make sure the bobbin and thread are all threaded properly. Try experimenting with different types of thread. My machine loves to use Simthread. Unfortunately, machine embroidery can be quite frustrating - stick with it though! x
Thanks, been looking for something like this. I've just purchased my first embroidery machine and it's a bit daunting. This is so informative, usually the beginner tutorials skip all the important bits thinking everyone knows what they are talking about
Deb Slater I remember when I first bought it, I had to do all the research and ask the questions before I got it just to be sure I kind of knew what I was doing xx
Thank you :-) I made these back last year - they are such a fabulous addition to my sewing room - I love looking at them. The added bonus is that they don't need much looking after!
I notice you pull the bobbin thread up to the top before starting to embroider, I have never pulled the bobbin thread up and “touch wood” not had any problems. Should I change my threading routine?
Andrea Woodman it’s a habit that I’ve picked up haha! If it works for you - don’t change it. Why fix something that’s not broken :-) There will be lots of things that I do that may not be the ‘right way’ my videos will mostly be me sharing what works for me :-) keep going the way you are x
Stitchscape ah yes! Haha! The first video was accidentally filmed in portrait mode as Its the way Instagram needs to be filmed. Thw above video is an old upload from Instagram. All future video’s will be normal haha xx
