smooth! This is a relaxing and inspiring way to access the movements, even to just watch. I hope I remember this vibe next time it comes to practice 😄✌
Thank you! Always interested in seeing other peoples Hsing Yi Ch'uan. I tell all my students that this action of Pi-Ch'uan, is like both hands ripping a cloth in two, with one of each of the hands moving in the opposite direction of the other. Like most Hsing Yi, Pi Chuan looks easy, but getting it right requires great effort, relaxed effort! 🤔😅 Sung Sung Sung. All the best. Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association
The fingers innerlock is called "Yi Shou Dan Tian" (translated: the mind sinks into the dan tian) and it is a mudra we are using in Qi Gong. This mudra helps to focus the mind (thoughts) and as a result find relaxation in the upper body. Like this you can sink down and bring more awareness into your legs.
Excellent! This will help me, and my students, everyone needs help with Pa Kua. Train for life, keep practice. All the best! Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association
Thank you for this video. You just literally caused me to have an 'aha' or 'Eureka' moment regarding the Yee Jee Kim Yeung Ma stance I practice as a Wing Chun person, which is an identical stance to this. Very direct but brilliant teaching.
