I just started playing this game and I feel so discouraged because I don't have any of the cards needed to make decent decks 😢 how long does it take to grind for the good cards?
Now that people know more about Galactus since that time, there is so many ways it can be countered. Any smart opponent can play cards that can completely shut down an prevent galactus from going off, or lock down lanes so he can't be played it all even if he is in your hands an your setup is ready. HERE IS SOME CARDS YOUR OPPENENT CAN PLAY TO COUNTER GALACTUS .Titania,DareDevil,Goose,Viper,Green Goblin,Storm,Cosmo,Debrii,Juggernaut, Polaris,Spider-Man,HobGoblin,Professor X,Aero, Doctor Octopus,Megneto. You make sound like its an instant win if u have your combo in hand. Next Season make another video about using Galactus an hitting infinite in 3 hours.
Just got Stature this morning and hit 90 so going to try this to grind to infinite. I wanted to find something to surprise people for the last stretch. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your BB doesn’t constantly get Shang chi’d?? SC is so friggin prevalent I just assume any big power I put up is getting blown away, especially with Zabu and destroy decks
Honestly, no. I try to play them under armor for that specific reason, but especially in my situation i try to let them play for priority so they cant shang chi me on the final turn. They do get SC’d, but not crazy frequently.
Yep :) someone actually just left a comment on this haha, a good swap-out for miles is titania and you save them until the last turn so they have a harder time switching sides :)
Wondering if there are any replacements for wave electro and death? im guessing not since they are pretty key cards but i don't have any of them, hoping to get them soon though.
You could slip something like leader or destroyer in there perhaps. Doc ock is only “important” if you run the turn 5 galactus strat to pull more cards to the board in order to buff knull for turn 6. That way destroyer and leader just give you different options for the final turn
What is your order? Im using the deck, but it hasnt been very successful for me. The only modification i have is instead of america, i have leader to counter an opponents spiderman
Order as in which cards played when? Optimal play for this deck is wave on 3, galactus on 4, spiderman on 5, knull and death on 6. If you run the turn 5 galactus its electro on 3, doc ock on 4, galactus 5, then knull and death on 6 (be sure you have negative prio so they cant shang chi)
Maybe vision to help with last minute board flips or killmonger to take care of any zoo/ultron decks you may face? Its kind of hard to find a direct replacement to shang-chi given the available cards. You could also go blue marvel if you want to try to buff, but i would recommend the other 2 first.
Side note, lots of people run the same type decks, me with high functioning ADHD i make me some far out deck that makes my opponents’ mind explode. I also enjoy playing against decks I’ve never seen before
This deck aint working like it used to. Trying it this season and every single deck I go up against has some sort of Galactus counter. Everyone is ready for it.
Yeah, which may be a good thing tbh. Galactus is too strong. I do find myself losing to it more than i would like though still haha. Last season may have been the last season for full galactus dominance, but its still pretty rampant.
Love the video, also hate G. similar to Shuri, going to use the broken shit to climb like I did last season, really wish that the game didn't work this way.............
Unfortunately there is always going to be game breaking / meta defining cards. This season was brutal, otherwise i wouldnt have bothered with galactus haha
Sometimes switching it up is good, but this deck definitely wins more cubes than it loses, so a losing streak isnt all that bad. I def had some while climbing with it
This is baloney. You will never win 8 cubes with this deck. They will always retreat and you will be lucky to get 2 cubes a game depending on the randomness of sites.
I specified in saying the games i win (not win on retreat) were nearly always 8 cube wins. But the majority of the games are win on retreat. Doesnt change the fact that you’re still gaining cubes quickly.
How the hell did you get 8 cubes wins 90% of the time. Are you super low rank or something. He is really easy to predict, and almost everyone leaves after he’s played. Most Galactus players would get 1-2 cubes per game, and barely any 4-8 cube wins.
I say in the video that the majority of the games are 2 cube wins because of retreats. I emphasized the idea of getting 8 cubes on my “actual” wins because if they didnt retreat, i got 8 cubes. Regardless of that, the climb from 70-105 took under 4 hours, and my rank isnt all too low. Over 2k CL, and hit infinite last season. Definitely not the best of the best, but far from low rank.
@@GrimWhoSnap alright, I heard around the start you said 90% were 8 cube wins so I was confused. Galactus is pretty good for winning cubes if your lucky, but it also depends on what the meta is at the moment.
Spider man really isn’t necessary, just an extra step to be toxic. If you make sure your opponent has priority on turn 6 and save all your heavy hitters until then you should still be fine. You could fill that slot with anything, you’d just lose the extra protection of them not being able to counter. Doc ock can be a good turn 5 replacement to guarantee they dont shang-chi you on 6, you just risk pulling power that is stronger than whatever your knull + death is at. Maybe nimrod, but thats more of a turn 6 galactus build.
Wanna take a moment to say, even though I'm a big fan of Galactus, it's a breath of fresh air to see someone be honest about a deck and tell us why they don't like it instead of gassing it up because it's what's hot at the moment.
In an ideal situation, the absorbing man would be used to copy galactus if it got moved to a board via aero, magneto, or juggernaut. If you keep 2 lanes empty until the galactus play you can also use it to get around any early hobgoblin / green goblin they may try to play. Other than that you could use it however you’d like like copying spiderman to lock down lanes for longer, etc 🙂
If im a bummer to watch, then dont watch, but i started the video by saying i was going to show y’all why i DONT like Galactus, idk what you were expecting 😂
I like how the intro to this video is talking about how easy it is to win and gain infinite with this deck in just a few hours and then that is all followed up by either 1 cube wins, location screwing, being countered, etc non-stop lol.
Instead of just showing ideal situations, The video actually shows exactly how galactus plays out. 90% of the wins are going to be single or 2 cubes. Could i have only shown games that were quick 8 cube burners? Sure, but the video is actually to show why i DON’T like galactus, regardless of its effectiveness to climb ranks, which was also made clear early on in the video 😂 the deck did get me from 70-105 in under 4 hours, but the entire time it was super boring, monotonous, and linear gameplay that either led the opponent to retreating after i snapped, or me retreating early if i didnt draw the cards or the locations screwed me. Galactus is strong, but not fun in my opinion.
Playing Galactus is equivalent to losing a board game as a child and karate chopping the game board in half. Half the community is out here trying to get lucky and pull some miracle combo while Galactus decks play 3 cards and win.
Thats why i personally am not a fan of galactus, but you cannot deny its ability to farm cubes. Bought the card to see what was so enticing about it and personally just didnt find it fun. There are ways to play galactus that are a bit more interesting, but even then its still just as linear and boring imo.
