Definitely the KING, I would just like to hang out with him then chill as Mercyful is my Fate! Every album never disappoints and ... will always be a fan!!
Great interview. I like Macabre's most recent album Carnival Of Killers. That said, Sinister Slaughter, Dahmer and Gloom are my top 3 Macabre albums in that order 🤘
Concentrate on more releases not live tours . . I don't mean new album because Martin si not there to make it Jethro Tull .. how about a box set on Under Wraps & Fly by Night.
@@jacekszczecinski2766 I think it is that light Asian seafood centered with French influence. I am an average American and used to be meat and potatoes and SAD, Standard American Diet, but always like Chinese. Then I discovered Japanese sushi raw fish which I thought I'd hate but loved, and then Vietnamese pho, noodles and spring rolls. By far if I had to choose one style of food to eat it would be that. I can't get enough. But it has to be a good restaurant. I don't know what Ian is eating, but he seems to be eating A LOT.
Thanks, good interview. I just want to know one thing .... for the last 3 albums, Ian has said he begins bright and early at 9am Jan 1st to start putting together ideas for his next album. We know that last year while releasing Roc Flote that he started a new album to be release this year, 2024, in October. So the question is ... what was he doing this New Years Day at 9am? Are we going to get another album or has his creative resurgence slowed down or stopped for a while? I've really loved the last two albums ... what a treat. Is it too much to wish for more?
Very cool interview! BOC is my favorite band and seen them many times since 1982. I was at the 1st night of the New York City concert and it was great!
Eric is such a great guy, full of heart and soul. I remember sending him some of my poetry back when Legend came out, and I didn't put my name on the envelope. He replied and put "SM MYSTERY FAN" on his letter. Too funny. I don't remember what he said about the poetry, though. I really hope he and Jeff make a Saviour Machine III album one day. What's funny is that people who complained about SM's lyrics seem to forget what the Bible itself has in it. Not everything is going to be clean, puritan, and wholesome. Religion is full of dark imagery, and to ignore that isn't going to protect you. The light and the dark have to be seen and understood. I couldn't stand most Christian music back in the 90s, because it felt so fake and forced. Saviour Machine was real.
