You might be nerdy, but you have a pleasant demeanor and a non-annoying voice like some other RU-vid videos of the same ilk! I’m a pharmacy tech student, and this was very helpful. Thank you.
at 42:50 in the clip... .isn't 200,000mcg with 100mg tabs (bid) 2 tablets at each dose? 200,000 mcg = 200mg/100mg = 2 tabs. Not one tab. It is 100mg per tab. You want to give 200mg twice a day, not 200mg total for the day.
😅😅... I like how you said you have so much fun marking things wrong when there's not 🚫 a leading zero. Are you still on RU-vid?😊 My teacher recommended your acid - base video to us for fundamentals! Love how detailed you are!
Dr. Wyatt, there is a lot to be said about Nurses teaching others to be nurses, but YOUR VIDEO has helped me sooooooooo much. You made this easier to understand. I will tell my peers about you, and they will subscribe!!!
Omg THANK YOU!! I hate math and I’m old so it’s been a long time since I’ve had to do any. I’m studying for my pharmacy tech license. I have a super short attention span and your video really kept me engaged and laughing 😆
Courtney Irving "Excellent teacher! Thank you for this!! For the metoprolol practice question, there seems to have been an error: It’s asking us to give 200,000mcg twice daily. This is equivalent to 200mg twice daily. We have 100mg tablets available. So we would give 2 tablets per dose. (which is what the question was asking). This would mean that the patient would get 2 of the 100mg tablets for the first dose and 2 of the 100mg tablets for the second dose. (Totaling 400mg per day)." is correct The dosing is 200mg bid, 2 tabs in the morning and the evening, 200mg (Ordered dose)/100( available dose) * 1 (tab concentration)= 2 tabs per dose
This video helped me so much. I start nursing school this semester and I feel like I am already a step ahead. You are so entertaining and clear when explaining information. Thank you thank you thank you!!
Nice lecture, but the albumin-corrected calcium method presented has been discredited. To see a better method, search the web with these terms: ionized calcium calculator; 704; medscape REF: Clinica Chimica Acta 531:375, 2022
