@@Officergamer101 I played a couple on the SNES, especially the DS9 game and they are a bit slow. Not saying they aren't interesting, especially for the time, but they might not be too captivating.
Men, you rebot me to 1998 with my PlayStation, when my parents gift me in Christmas this game, i have the Sega Saturn Too but this game only play in PS, i need play on the Saturn to check the Diferences
That's awesome man I know you were excited opening it on Christmas. For some reason the playstation long boxes got me super excited as a kid. I'm not sure if theirs any big differences I just like the controler better for fighting games. Playstation is still great though.
Nice video. I played a good bit of the arcade version and it felt cheap at times, but I still liked it. There are some cool videos on the history of this game. Captain Sawata is an interesting story. He's in the movie and has like two lines total, because they hired him to be Ryu since he could do his own stunts, but it turned out his English sucked so they hired the other guy. Since he could do stunts they kept him and made that character for him to still be able to 'act' in the movie. His character in the Arcade version was pretty OP.
I really wanted to play the arcade version because the gameplay looked different. I didn't know that at all about the movie but it makes sense. Yeah swataa is a beast in the console game.
Hey there, I was just watching a LP of this game earlier and thought it looked pretty fun to play(I haven't played it before) so then I figured I'd check out a review of it after, when I looked it up yours was the first review video it showed here so that's how I got here. I like to check out video game channels but never heard of yours before but after watching this review I really enjoyed it you did a good job. Am now a new subscriber so I will definitely be checking out your other reviews here so thanks and keep up the good work. PS: also find it interesting that you're a police officer who not only likes video games but also does RU-vid videos about it, so that's pretty cool.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes you should definitely play both games highly enjoyable. Yeah I talk about my job in some videos and sometimes due to the job it takes a little longer to post videos but I try to get one out once a week I let everybody know what's going on if it takes longer. I know my videos aren't perfect by any means but I just enjoy talking about the many games and some new that I grew up with. Thanks for watching!
Don't think I ever made it past the Halloween stage. Like you, was excited to get this (I think I borrowed it from a neighbor) and quickly soured on it.
The cover looked amazing and I was watching the xmen cartoon on fox kids so I was amped up. One of the biggest dissapointments in gaming for me big time.
I found this game at a flea-market and it was truly a hidden treasure! Now I really liked the one on the NES, but this one was FANTASTIC and it one of my top favorite games on the Genesis! Great video!
Yep that's pretty much my order just sor2 and ff3 would swap. Yeah the inputs on ff3 was a welcome change to the gameplay. If you haven't played it, streets of rage 4 is phenomenal so much fun. I wish final fight would have something like that.
@@Officergamer101 I purchased SOR 4 on day one and basically played it for a year straight. I have 3 daughters and all of them loved it so much that we beat all of it on Mania mode and then when the DLC survivor mode hit, we played non stop!
I didn't get the feeling of it being sluggish . Especially playing as Guy. The slow down was apparent with two player action going on but besides that I thought it was fine. This should have been final fight 2
Streets of Rage 3 was a bit on the difficult side, but Bare Knuckle 3 was better. Not only did it have a different story line than SOR3, but it featured a mini-boss fight in stage 1 named Ash who, well, let's just say probably wouldn't go over very well today lol. But him, Shiva, and Roo are all hidden characters you can add in that version of the game. Good video as always, my friend!
Yep I saw that mini boss on the first stage lol. Yeah I agree streets of rage 3 is the better game but I just like 2 better. It could be just nostalgic for me. thanks!
O man! I only played medieval from a demo disc back in the day I can't remember from where. I gotta try it out. I remember playing it around the same time I had blasto for ps1
Did you get to play it back in the day? I wish my rental stores had it back then. Thanks Stephen for real man it was a life changing experience and not for the good. I'll get better just takes time.
@@Officergamer101 No, I'm in that same boat where I played 1 at a friend's house and bought 2 cheap, but I didn't discover 3 until college. I know it's a rough line of work. Good luck.
If you hold up and B (your attack button) after beating Shiva in round one, you can pick him too. Ridiculously hard but I've got the true ending as Zan and Skate. Japanese version Bare Knuckle 3 is a lot easier. Western release 'Normal' is Japanese release 'Hard' and thats why ours is so difficult.
@Officergamer101 Shiva is quiet a force to reckon with, the only draw back is that he can't pick up weapons. He can still pick up Apple, Chicken, money and gold, but not weapons. He drops it straight away, same with Roo.
wow,,,sooo many awesome n64 memories....Zelda ocarina of time rocked my world...so did goldeneye...there were epic mortal combat games too...mk armageddon, i hope i have the right to reminisce??!! lol
Not a great beat em up, I agree. Turtles In Time and Streets of Rage 2 are often regarded as the better beat em ups of the 16 bit era, but Final Fight 3 did make some improvements.
I've always enjoyed this game. Always love coming back to it and playing it again, trying to beat the higher end difficulty which, unfortunately, the higher you make the difficulty, the harder it is to duck enemies in the driving stage. And if you die even once, you start all over, so there is no room for error.
@@Officergamer101 the Sega CD version is so weird. I myself never played it, but from what I've seen, it doesn't seem like a lot of fun. Yeah the NES version is fun, but I have a harder time with it than the SNES version.
I'm not really experienced on posting videos but I have the sega cdx console and it won't convert properly to my computer when I'm recording gameplay. I was going to review batman returns for sega cd. The driving stages in it get extremely tuff.
What makes the game worse is, the higher you set the difficulty, all they do add more Andores with frustratingly long health bars. The challenge isn't because the game is too difficult, but it is challenging because it doesn't hold your attention for longer than, say, 30 minutes. They have some of the important landmarks in levels, like France has the Eiffel Tower straightaway, but it seems like a wasted opportunity with other countries, like Holland and England. And you're right, if SoR2 is a 10/10, this one is a 5/10. Plus, yeah, that's totally Willam F. Guile in France, when you fight Freddie.
Just came across your channel. I like your officer gimmick. Kind of funny cause there's Edi. E the Cop boss but I digress. The only shortcoming with both Snes versions of Final Fight was the exclusion of multi-player. Other than that, it was an awesome port. The GBA port was my favorite with all the cool new unlockables like Alpha Guy and Cody from Street Fighter.
Thank you! Yeah I'm a cop in real life and love video games so my channel is pretty much my own journal from all the games I grew up playing. I never played the gba one. But I love the sega cd version.
Because us 90s kids are adults now and wanting to turn back the clock to simpler times. reliving the good ol days with reviews. This channel is basically my personal journal
Hey I didn't think that at all lol your good! Yeah it's harder for me the upload the old school nes 2d platformers cause I have to use my old TV. Still fun though
