I been following your journey for a minute man reason why I found your channel is because I believe trucking is a career path I want to go for, I respect your honesty. A lot of people think they can come into trucking with no experience and think they are going to make 150k plus their first year or more with no work put into it then they make RU-vid videos about how trucking is terrible and how flipping burgers is a better option lmao nothing good comes for free or with no effort gotta put in time and do work. Wish you all the success homie as you say the Sky is the limit
Been a few days since I gotten my class A cdl and it's been lil hard to find a local job. I will do any type of job as long as it's isn't otr or regional, I can't leave my family for more than 2 days.
PepsiCo is an excellent company. I have years of experience in retail and I did work for PepsiCo briefly as a merchandise manager. The only reason why I left is because I was salaried and I was working 80 hours seven days a week too much. But the delivery driver is an excellent role. It pays very well and you get loads of overtime. They are very new driver, friendly. Out of all of the soda companies PepsiCo is by far the best. I am not a fan of Coke or the others because I’ve worked with a lot of the leadership team over the years from Coke and they leave a lot to be desired. Plus the delivery drivers at Coke get paid a flat daily rate regardless of how many hours they work that is not worth it.
These companies nowadays just concerned about smashing the interview instead of actually getting the job done. It’s sad bro at the end of the day it’s about how you work regardless of experience. There’s lots of people getting jobs simply because of a great interview but at the same time there are people who might not do that well on the interview who are better at the job than people they decide to hire. And people wonder why the turnover rate is so high.
They paid $23 a few years ago. I wonder what they pay now! You might bring home about $1200/ week. Work like a dog though! My best friend worked for them a while after he and I left Western Express!
Grate vid bro the driving was getting boring to watch good to switch it up some 💯 staring CDL school September thinking bout tanker. You plan on getting any endorsements?
Man no homo I just love the way you speak and motivate bro! Especially with the part about consistency… btw I been driving for 6 years all local. Keep up the grind KCO
Watching from Indiana and currently waiting to get funded to start CDL school hopefully here in august man that peach vibe one of the best flavors hand down 💯
Bro at least you got a good examiner. Here in Canada I had a guy super fucking rude didn’t even introduce himself. Always had a straight face. And had dark sunglasses so you cant see his eyes. They never tell you that you are doing good in any part. Actually you might failed before you even left the lot to go for the drive and they don’t tell you. They make you go trough the whole test just to tell you at the end you failed. In Canada is actually fucking hard to get your CDL .
