We flooded on regular basis and we have not build dams, irrigation and pump systems no big artificial lakes and no rivers deepen- criminal negligence. And tommorow droughts...
Great to see a Birds Eye view, this is amazing how much water is coming down. My father has lived there is whole life. He was only 9 years old for the big 1956 flood. His house was in the Main Street and was destroyed.
The only sad thing about this is the poor choice of music…. Why dramatise something that is so natural, the Murray is doing what it has done for years catching water and draining that flow. We will survive
In hindsight, I have to agree with you. Music choice was not the best. It wasn't intended to dramatise it but I agree that it has ultimately potentially had that effect.
Thanks you. The plan was for that marker to be clearer in the video but it didn't turn out that way. I can but you can also google flood levels at Mannum and go to images and there will be a photo of it. I'll try to get it in the next video though.
The Murray use to flood all the time that’s why it has flood planes it’s just we haven’t been getting rain up stream to wash down stream so now when it happens it’s O no we are flooding but it’s normal not flooding is not normal when it floods it washers out the salt build up 🇦🇺🙂😀🌨🌨🌨🌈
