I think the decline in form coincides with the infamous chipping yips when coasting to a major championship. Anyone who plays golf knows what that can do to your mentality on the course, it affects everything, driving for fairways, 2nd shots to greens, where you know you have to hit it to avoid a dreaded chip. And all of this in front of fans and the TV, brutal, just so exposed. Best of luck in the future.
An intimidating player in past years, but has not been at her best for some time now, primarily because her putting is awful. Had a good career though, all the best in retirement Lexi.
Crazy what golfers are willing to do for that sweet PIP money. Gotta go big if you want to leapfrog Tiger. I think the Commonwealth needs to examine the PIP narrative and if he did this on purpose for clicks
I guess 2 factors are at play here, to which I totally agree : - women pro golfers with great achievements under their belt don’t have the equivalent of LIV for a less hectic life (regardless of prizes) - the passing of Grayson Murray certainly resonates more deeply with some than others, as of pro touring not being a lifetime job anyway and being extremely demanding and restrictive to your private life. When you don’t feel like the rewards make up for it any longer, and when you have a fulfilling life besides - or aspire for one, it gets hard. Whatever, I wish her the best in life.

Always presented herself looking a million dollars, clothing wise and body wise (muscle tone) shows the amount of work she did in the gym. A sponsors dream. I think at time, she battled her putter and showed marvellous restraint not to throw it into the nearest lake. She goes away a true entertainer and we are left the poorer with her retirement.
sounds like its a combination of 2 things:Job Burn out and fat fat, bank account..Solution: She could just cut her schedule down to just 10 tournaments per year INSTEAD of walking away cold turkey for good.. If she walks away cold turkey, she will miss PRO Golf badly by year 2..guarenteed..Life without Pro golf tournaments to look forward to playing is actually pretty damn boring to be truthful. Stick to 10 tourneys a year and you will find yourself with lots of free time on your hands
GC, PGA tour highlights are some of the worst put together highlights of all time. No passion or dignity, just so lazy. But the reason the ratings are down and golf isn't bigger is because of the old fans and its a boring sport of course!
Social anxiety is a real bitch! I suffered from it since I was a small child. Extremely shy they would call it. Inferiority complex it was also called. Avoiding public situations and self medicating were my solutions. This was back in the 50’s and 60’s. Depression certainly is associated with it. I’m very lucky I survived it. I feel for him and his loved ones😢
I think we can officially stop talking about Jordan Spieth until he does something why he has major sponsors. I don’t know because LIV players don’t get any sponsorships. He’s not 25th in the world and all actuality out of the top 50 or 60 and he’s becoming a journeyman. His mind is gone his confidence is gone.
At some point she has to win something though and though I agree she’s talented and very pretty she’s the Rickie Fowler of women’s golf marketable but not a proven consistent winner.

The statements from the.city people namely... The mayor...the cop chief was a lot of bullsh.t The cop is a hot head and wanted to make a scene. The other cops all backed him up WHY..because they are all bent. It would be a great outcome if the PGA DECIDED TO HOLD NO MORE MORE MAJOR GOLF EVENTS IN KENTUCKY. FIRE THE COP THAT CAUSED ALL THIS HOGWASH SO THAT HE CAN NO LONGER CAUSE ANYMORE TROUBLE FOR THE OTHER COPS AND THE CITY. HE IS A BAD APPLE AND SHOULD BE GOYTEN RID OF
It’s going to be sad not seeing you compete after this year Lexi. You need to do what makes you happy, whatever that looks like. You have made a difference in a lot of people’s life.
