Previously named KittenMittens_0. Riding videos of my motorcycle adventures. Find me where the dirt is! I try to ride a good mix of ADV, dual sport, and dirt throughout the season.
Since I have only been on the road and have never seen a trail, I like watching your travels. I have a Honda crf 300l and use it for errands, groceries and short trips. There are no trails here in Baltimore. Do you guys stay between 2nd and third gear for trails? I've only ridden for 4 months, starting with a XR 150l which I immediately traded in for the 23 300l. Enjoy!
Congrats on the 300L! That's an awesome dual-sport. As for gearing, it kind of depends on the trail, bike, and sprocket setup. On the tight singletrack stuff, I typically am in 2nd, but doing a lot of clutch work most of the time. On the flowier dual track, usually I'm in 3rd, but sometimes 2nd or 4th depending on how techy or fast it is. Thanks for watching!
The war for the Fordway Bridge between us Dualsporters and the beavers is extensive and I see just as volatile. haha. We went out not long ago and fixed that thing and here it is again, half sunk, half beat up, and almost fully submerged.
These trails look fun ! I am looking to get a bike again soon. What paperwork and/or sticker to I need to ride these trails? Any info would help, thanks.
Nice ride!! Quick question i do alot of hard enduro and single track type riding and might go get an fe 450 tomorrow you happy with the bike for that kind of stuff?
@@k24a4accord I'm happy with it, but be prepared for a lot of clutch work. The power of the 450 is awesome! I think most people that do hard enduro ride 300cc two-strokes because the low end grunt is unmatched. I haven't personally ridden a 300cc 2T so I can't say for sure if that's the case.
@KittenMittensADV i have a 300 but its pretty clapped lol. Have a 4 day ride in a couple weeks which i wont be able to get this bike fixed up before then so looking at something newer and there's a good deal on a fe 450 near me but does t seem to be too many videos on them everyone seems to love the 350s
@@Insaiyanrider I'm rocking a Leatt 3.5 helmet, DJI Action 4 camera, and a DJI helmet chin mount that just secures on with a couple velcro straps. For more ADV oriented riding I use an Arai XD4 with a ride tech stick on chin mount 👍
@@KittenMittensADV which do you prefer for Moto blogging helmet set up I just got the DJI4 so I’m trying to go more into the offroading community as opposed to the street I got a beta 500 rrs
@@Insaiyanrider if I'm doing ADV stuff I'll wear the Arai. For dirt I'll wear the Leatt. I haven't got fancy enough to wear a dedicated mic to pick up my voice, I just use the mic built in to the dji camera. My riding buddies and I all have Cardos so soon I want to try to figure out how to incorporate the comms in my videos, but it's a work in progress.
Thanks for the video. I was looking for an Enduro model and could not find one. I was also concerned about range and the rear section for luggage. I ended up buying the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, very happy with it after 900 miles. But I do like the looks and am a BMW fan, probably would have bought it if I could have found Enduro.
It's a shame the Enduro model isn't more widely available. The guy at Max was saying that some of the parts they use to build the enduros are backordered, so that's why you can't find them. Glad you like the Tiger!
Something tells me you enjoyed that ride more than the other bikes. I could hear you smiling through the helmet. Wouldn’t it be fun to torture that bike on a canyon road?
It’s sad that I wasn’t recorded going through the mud hole on the e-bike but it’s cool I had fun that’s what counts still was pretty cool watching everyone get through it ❤
@@blairweiss that was Damon Bradshaw and his son. Pretty sure yamaha just gave them a couple demo bikes to use. It was a work of art watching them go through the rest of the course!
@@KittenMittensADV I have about 1600 miles on it with half of that being off-road, purchased July 18. Have been out of commission for the last three weeks because of a broken tibia though 😭. Can’t wait to get back on the bike
@@KittenMittensADV Its so capable in the trails and hard stuff, sometimes I forget what I'm riding. I only feel the extra weight when I have to pick it up....a lot 😉
