Thank you so much for posting this! I first became aware of Rev. Joe after reading up on Brother Claude Ely 6 or 7 years back. There wasn't hardly *any* of Rev. Joe's music online. I just looked him up again after getting a copy of THERE'LL BE NO BLACK LUNG UP IN HEAVEN for Christmas, and was so so pleasantly surprised to see so much more of his music on RU-vid now! It blows my mind that there hasn't been a good comp of him or an archival release of mining-region White Gospel. But I'm grateful to all the folks, including you, who are saving it from being completely forgotten. Thank you.
Unbelievable!! You’ve captured the spirit and the angst of Bob Seager! My favorite song by him! And if you see me tearing up it’s because I’ve got dirt in my eye.. I’m not crying! You’re crying! Lol!
