As a Licensed home inspector for over 20 years I am always super thorough with flipper houses looking where they cut corners to make more profit. Don't get swayed by granite countertops and new appliances when the electrical system and furnace are due for replacement.
When I bought my house it had been on the market for a while. Submitted a little low offer only about $10,000 off. This was 2015. The asking price and they came back and said they want it full. They have other offers and my realtor called me and I said fine. Tell him to go with the other offers I'm not adjusting mine. My realtor called and said he's no longer interested and they had to admit that they didn't have anything else and that they would accept mine

I hate Utah. I have lived here since 2016. I thought it was like Idaho. It isn't. It's hell. Especially with all the self righteous Christians. A majority of the citizens are stuck up. The elected officials care nothing about the homeless. They care plenty for non Americans and will help them with everything. I think we all can help the homeless. I don't really like the word homeless for them. I call them my outside neighbors, because basically they are my neighbors. It's sad that many are going without food and more. UT has all this money from covid they never used, yet they won't even use that money to help. Utah is hell.
I hate Utah because it smells like cow and horse shit everywhere. And public land there is littered with cow pies and shotgun shells. Too hot for 6 months. Too cold for 4 months. Nasty place.
Sometime check out Rockin Robins Ranch in Santaquin and rooms you can rent out and different tents and places to stay in the back yard! Old house bed & Breakfast. It's worth seeing!
Texas is pushing legislation that will reduce their taxes significantly for properties. We have to wake up and smell the coffee and realize all of these measures right now to the one by downs governments getting involved I really what they call rescue efforts. What do we need to be rescued from? Could it be a bad housing market Volador unpredictable an affordable housing market
$75,000 a year average medium income? If you do the math, there’s a significant gap in the housing market. Which will contribute to migration and a healthy economy. New builders aren’t building. What does that tell you there’s obviously forecasted issues in the future. We need the overvaluation settle down. Need a correction and we’re going to get that in the near future here.
I live in North Orem, in the "Aspen neighborhood". This area was filled out between the 70's and 90's. It was orchards and farms before that. This is common in Orem. My house is one of the early farmhouses, built in 1942. This eclectic home is surrounded by larger homes. This brings the value of it up substantially. Yay for me.
