It works if both people are on the same page and mature enough. Which means it doesn't work for about 90% of people. Sex and emotions aren't in the same checkbox for me. It also comes down to what you want out of life. I don't want kids; anyone who does or has them have about a 0% chance of me falling for them in any capacity, because we want such vastly different things in life, it'd never work on any level outside of just casual sex.
