Hi friends! Thank you for joining me today. I’m Andrea, and I’ve spent a lot of time in the last few years trying out and recreating some of my family’s favourite dishes. I often look for modern ways to experience classics and see what sticks with my family. We focus on simplicity - both in ingredients and techniques.

Hope to see you soon!

Can you cook eggs and rice at the same time with the Itaki Pro? If so, how do you do that simultaneously?

Thank you for including directions that aren't just to use the porridge button - the instant pot pro doesn't have it, and I wasn't sure what pressure the porridge function used

Thank you for your recipe. I'll use some of your spices and your air fry instructions. I'm experimenting a Cantonese dish called "Chu Hou Kai". It's fried chicken, then pour a mixture of Chu Hou sauce over it. Hope it works. Thanks again.

Hi Andrea - I am just starting with CHinese cooking (and loving it). About how much protein would your recipe cover in total please? 1 to 2 kg (2 to 5 ibs), or even more? Thanks!

Very nice video Andrea and you’re pretty too. I have a bag of dried black beans which are a hard dry bean. How do I prepare them in order to make a sauce? Thank you 😉

Would LOVE to see more recent Itaki recipes. You are one of the only creators who post them. I just bought mine and folks I've spoken to are so frustrated at the lack of recipes from the company.

As a friend of mine would say, “I’d murder that bowl of congee!” Congee is one of my favorite dishes. 😊

Love the recipe. I’m not sold on the pot because cleaning looks to be difficult without the ability to remove the cooking container. I don’t want to accidentally get the electric parts wet.

I work in a warehouse and we have refrigerators to keep food cold before going to lunch. Do you guys think work refeigerators would work in Cali summers for these cookers? I’m just worried they food might spoil before lunch comes around for me to plug the unit in 😣

Perfect recipe, it’s how I make it. I make a pot then freeze it in two cup containers, and I can take it out and heat it up anytime. It’s just me that enjoys eating it so it works great! Such a comforting bowl. ( chicken legs are perfect, I add them to the instant pot frozen) thank you for sharing ❤️

That's not blue, it's purple. The packaging is really shonky. The kettle flex may not work (none of mine did and (I bought 3 items). There is no recipe book inside (nor a link to an ebook). But, the product works well and you can ask for a recipe book from support.

Thank you for your easy but nutritious meals. Wonderful for people who are convalescing after a surgery. I am so happy I found you because although I like ramen and I make more nutritious by adding veggies, it gets monotonous and boring. Your easy tasty nutritious recipes are marvelous. I bought a Shabuki Pot a few years ago which basically sat in the cupboard. I decided to use it after I had back surgery because like you said it is surprising how hot it gets in so little time. I can cook up a pretty decent meal for myself and have only one pot to wash and put away all thanks to you and your lovely videos. So thank you very much for making these videos teaching how to make a variety of recipes using the Shabuki Pot!
