This was my first album I listened to from these guys. Sail into the Black was just so so so good. Nowadays I'm partially deaf and its just not the same. But good memories at the very least.
I was thinking of going to the new Pantera Show Next year here in germany. NOT ANYMORE!! Thank you Rob!! Sick mindset phil. Shame on you Phil… POS. ROB! You the man. Better band , better Songs AND BETTER MINDSET!! All the way!!!
My kid is 11 you all gotta keep going another seven years so I can get my kid to see you, because of my "see you next Tuesday" of an ex won't let me take him to a concert. Keep going bros
You ever not listen to a band in ages and then it's like rediscovering them and falling in love all over again? The Hellfest show that's on youtube right now is fucking immense!!!!! I remember seeing you guys live at Brixton Academy in 2004 and still just as good today, incredible.
I don't really care to be honest. If it's a joke okay, if it's not a joke okay. Not my problem or business. People are too serious nowadays. I would recommend laying off the internet or putting up a timer cause it sure as hell doesn't make me feel any better getting angry at something I can't change. Doesn't mean I am condemning or condoning anything. Just means I do not care. Don't underestimate your emotional reaction due to chronic internet use.
Still unbelievable that they managed to follow up the greatest album of all time with the second-greatest album of all time. This doesn't stop hitting, and I keep coming back to it years later.
Robb Flynn... I am so proud of how you came thought the decades you've been a musician. You never heard of me but I was gonna fly out to California when you had auditions for a guitarist way back around 1996-1997 just before "The Burning Red" album where you eventually got Ahrue Luster for the spot, a local talent. Steve from Skinlab talked with me at the Rave in Milwaukee and said Robb is looking for a guitar player. I was younger and didn't have the airfare money at the time to come down and try out. From that moment in time I created a hardcore band and we eventually played Summfest and then I moved on to play for Dissaray which was signed to Eclipse Records which had the mighty band Mushroom Head. They went on to Warner Bros. I knew your whole album Davidian and tons of people told me I should fly out and audition. Well, I couldn't and it eats me alive everyday still to this day! Not sure if this will ever get back to you, but I'm 53 years old now and still have this passion for music to this day that I had as a kid. Your music is so heartfelt and I understand! You are never alone my Metal brother. Keep doing what you do because it's who you are, you speak the truth and we are the same 🤘👍
