Long time customer and fan; question about fitment, on any Alpinestars suit really: my current suit (purchased from STG) is the Alpinestars Atem one piece leather suit. My problem is my body size, I'm 6'5" and 180 lbs; my Atem is size 56 Euro. While it does fit, it's a bit of a clown suit fit width wise for my lanky frame. Are there ANY other suits that would fit me better, from your experience with customers? I've crashed the Atem twice, so it's on it's about to be retired. Thank you.
If you cut all the ties for the ignition wiring, you can flip the tree & drill it out, without removing the tank! Just put some towels down so the shavings don’t burn anything. Worked great for me! Thanks for the video
Great video, but one quick question. I followed this but for my 2024 Z500 (I know the bikes may be slightly different but taking my chance) using a norton Motorsports throttle tube. After installing, I noticed that I lost some adjustability in the amount of slack in the throttle. At the loosest setting, my throttle has zero slack, and may be even in the negative slack range. Is it possible that my cable is too short?
Quick question. When removing the forks, is it mandatory to remove the front Fairings and headlights? Or can I remove the forks without having to remove those things?
Hello buddy, I’m riding the cruiser Harley and I’m tired about leather jacket. my question is how comfortable is that jacket for the cruiser bikes and what about protection riding between 40 to 60 F. Thanks.
Hey how are you ! I have a question I am Asian(not skinny tho😅 I like to work out) with 178cm 80kg and prefer to wear 33~34 waist pants depends on the size of thigh It would be happy if It fits like you in the video It is my first time to buy racing pants do you have any size recomendations? Thank you!
I scrolled for a few minutes and didn’t find this question, so I’ll probably be asking it again; No neck roll protection? Seems like half an airbag then
So to my understanding when u put the "pulley" back on with nylon spacer, u need to rotate it counterclockwise one full turn then slide onto stud to build the spring tension? Not just put it straight on, is this correct? Thanks.
I did buy this counterfeit product Engine Covers for my Ducati Monster 1100 (2009). My apologies to GB Racing, but I did not have other choice as they don't produce engine covers for my model anymore. I looked on R&G and they don't produce alternator case cover which I needed the most. Unfortunately I did not have other choice, as my bike was already low sided. So better having Chinese ones than nothing. But for sure it is better to change bots for quality one. My second motorcycle GSX-R 1000 K1, also don't support anyone, so I have to find at least some covers.
Hello, I’m slowly converting my r7 to a track/race bike and your videos have been a huge help. Just to confirm can I buy the spiegler non abs lines and keep the abs module in the bike with screws caps? Then pull the abs fuse? Then run the non abs lines as normal
Hey, Brian….. we appreciate improving video quality but just wanted to offer a tip that would massively improve lighting. Your side lights are too small and therefore the light is too harsh on the sides of your face while leaving your front in shadow. Move the side lights as close as possible or get bigger ones…. or add diffusion. You could even dial the power down a little if possible. That would be a big help. Also, if you add a beauty dish light overhead on a boom ….centered and a bit in front of you….. you will get a massive improvement in lighting. EVERYTHING will look better. You…. the products you’re showing…. colors…. just everything. Just a few tips from a photographer who knows a bit about lighting. 👍🏻
Just got a pair in…. and wow. Medium is my normal size and the R3 was good but it was a bit tight putting on and off. The R4 feels great and still goes right on and off without a struggle. These things are gonna rock even more once broken in. 🤘🏻 The sizing seems just a hair larger than the R3 so keep that in mind when ordering. The medium may now be great for those L size R3s that were a hair big. AStars did well with the all new redesign. Other than the downgrade to 1 KP protection level. 😢
No one does this ever. I have the tech 5. I wanna see if u can have the suit on. Take the top off with vest still on and how easy u can slide the suit back on over the airbag. The tech 5 u can not do it at all.
compared to the LS2, this helmet is so much more comfortable!!! it's unbelievable! also i wore an XXL with the LS2, got a medium. truly impressed! and i tried a shoei and it was very uncomfortable (really hurt my ears taking the helmet off)
Hi, I bought a pair of RS Taichi GP-EVO R (new model) that I found at a really good price but I'm sending them back to Japan because the knuckle protection digs hard into my knuckles and the thumb is way too long and large, but even worse the stitching digs real hard under my fingernails... Do Racer gloves also have that kind of stitching inside or is it as good as Held Titans?
I think my biggest question is; how do you get used to the feeling? Just an example an Alpinestars glove with the knuckle protector is pretty slim but gives great feeling on the throttle! I want the most protection as possible, but I’m wary for a gauntlet style because I’m worried about not being able to even feel the throttle because the glove is to thick. I mean I know racers all wear the gauntlet style, but for a daily rider what would you guys recommend? It’s a tough call like everything else. Comfort over safety:)
