My name is Anna, Tarot reader from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Find my Patreon, the card deck I've made: Magickal Guidance Cards and my Instagram in the links. All of my videos are about- or related to Tarot and have a strong "explore and decide for yourself"-quality. Enjoy.
I got this deck as a present and was SO disappointed. I really hated it… and not in the “you need to work through this” way, but in the “throw it in the trash can way!😂 I am an artist and especially like to support Tarot artists. The advertising focuses predominantly on the images that look more like gallery art, but many of the images didn’t seem fully done, not like a sketch- there are beautiful sketches, but like… just… not very good. I exchanged it for another, more surreal art deck and am really happy with the decision! 😊 This is MY experience and opinions, and I realize this deck has its followers. ✅ I DO like the writing of this book and may try to get it separately… the verbal imagery is … as you say, dreamy! Thanks, as always for your thoughtful analysis.
Great video, as always <3 we're here from the start & love you and your ramblings, don't worry dearest. As a vamp myself, this Gothic Tarot is a treasure. Would love to have Joseph Vargo's other oracle, the Madame Endora's book of fortunes is another peculiar charm. The Halloween Tarot is such a precious heart warming deck! wish you a wonderful weekend ❣
@@drakainaslairtarot That’s good to hear! I’ve looked at that oracle, just never made the decision to actually get it. Something interesting about it though. Thanks so much!
I'm a Patrick Valenza fan, I love original recipe Triomphe Della Luna and the Blood version of Mildred Payne's Oracle of Black Enchantment. He did a blood version of the pocket Oracle, but I don't see it anymore. 😢 I need to do a vacation bag video. I just watched Tarotmap's video and thought... hmmm, if a reader is in the tropics for Halloween, it definitely makes a difference. I am super happy that you raised awareness about Crow's Magick because I love it, but I never would have known it existed without the astral reporting.
Wow. There’s a lot here. I’m 65. Welcome to spiritual maturity… when you realize your body isn’t you! ❤ I’m a big and tall woman, and when men don’t find you attractive “enough” for their “consideration”, you get such dismissive treatment overall that I learned early on that my shell isn’t me. Part of my success as an actress is that I could use people’s perceptions of my shell in ways that I had no vanity about. I actually wanted to fully represent someone else, so I defied the odds of what people expected of my shell and had no vanity about how the shell is perceived… so I worked non-stop on stage for years “in spite of” my size and looks, and yes, people would say that to me directly. It’s really surprising that all of us don’t come to this realization much sooner as women because the commentary, positive or negative, on our shell is so relentless. I am an RWS girl, and I definitely have experienced my Giant RWS kicking me when I’m down! Things that make you go “hmm?” 😂 I enjoy the thoughtfulness of your content. I’ve cried in a reading- well, got choaked up & misty, because I was just flooded with the emotions of the client’s pain. Like any art form, Tarot reading is both professional and personal. ❤
@@KaraTarot-4enlightening Wow what a powerful comment, thank you. I take in what you said. I love seeing a body as a body and not “the self”. My Self is something else, although that certainly doesn’t mean I neglect or ignore my body’s needs. I hate that people have said those things to you and glad you are wiser than them! Thank you ♥️
first and foremost..I love your content and you..but I absolutely dislike every deck you showed 😆But to each their own..I'm sure others might like some of them..I have a bit of vision problem so tend to stay away from dark printed cards. I find the so challenging to read.
Hi i see on MPC yoir magickal guidance cards. What is the exact deck called that u just showed? Im a little confused. There's quite a few decks . Just want to make sure I get the one u showed on this video. Tysm
@@Rootedintherealms The exact copy is Magickal Guidance Cards Lilith version, however I recommend the linen finish. It’s exactly the same but a better card finish 🙏🏼✨
@@bjork914 Ah, that’s because the Lilith version is the only one in linen ;) So when you order linen, you’ll get the Lilith version which is what I’m holding in my hands. Maybe also make sure to click so you see all my decks on MPC, sometimes there’s a button you need to click
@@AstralLadyTarot it seems that I may have the linen version already then 😊 I'm still contemplating getting a backup. Truly one of my favorite decks in my collection
Totally with you on The Halloween Tarot being a genuinely good, legit tarot deck. I feel the same about the Zombie Tarot, it's so clever and well thought out. Loved spending a bit of time with you over a morning coffee while you shared your darker decks. x
It's always blown my mind that there are people who have zero interest in anything spiritual whatsoever or anything of the mystery of the universe. My first girlfriend was like this. Great person, but I'm just the exact opposite of her.
Wow! I never felt hollow atmosphere since living in southern hemisphere 😂 I have a few spooky vibe deck “ tarot of haunted house”, “tarot of vampyres”. I try not to use them much as I don’t want to put my intention to manifest things I don’t want 😅 by the way, I love your video with authentic voice. Nothing was offensive however it’s up to listeners’ individual depictions on what they heard. Thank you again! ❤
@@guvibration1182 Haha for sure over here when end of September comes, it’s spooky vibes all over. I love my darker decks and work with them year-round. Thanks for commenting!
Im so glad you mentioned left hand driving not being too bad. Im going to Scotland in a couple of weeks and renting a car. That one thing above all is causing me so much anxiety lol
This is such a great idea! Thank you for sharing! I have searched and searched for videos not just showing the decks, but ideas of how to go deeper in exploring them. And answering questions with them. You really nailed it. I learned a lot. Please do more videos like this! Thank you!!! 🙏🏻😊🩷
Lots of sound advice here Anna, and it sure sounds like you've had to contend with some real nonsense over the years! Especially from fellow practioners, wtf?! I have a mixed bag of friends but I never really get asked about my practice from the non-woo folks in my life. I don't know if it's because they think it's silly or because they're just uninterested but I've also never had any jokes or meaness from them about it. I think if they did think I was being silly, then they are probably far too polite to say as such (and some of these people I have known for a really long time, so I think they're pretty used to my level of weirdness, lol). Some of my friends have seen me go from pretty woo, to super skeptic, to atheist, to kinda skeptic and back round to fairly woo again. I've been lucky to find out that some of my friends in the TTRPG group I play with are also into tarot, and I even recently discovered that someone I roller skate with has also been reading tarot for years! We're everywhere! Finally, I took a break from watching the MOONward role playing game by the Midst Podcast creators to watch this, so it's funny to me which word you picked at the end of your video. 🌙
I love this!!! The message you gave about the strength card was so great! I also feels like it closely relates to the reading I gave for the collective in my VR, this AMAZING TAROT TAG!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰☺️☺️☺️😘😘😘💞💞💞
@@AstralLadyTarot yes dear I don’t have any issue for that just bcoz for the place you use for something should be neat and clean . I suppose when you read cards for somebody you pray also that’s why.
Enjoyed your video so much! I'm not a professional reader but I can surely sense different reactions of people when/if I share my passion for tarot practice. I enjoyed your thoghts on the topic! I am sorry you had to experience haters and I appreciate even more your willingness to keep showing up in the wild west of internet✨✨. And bringing the fun to our practice, yes! 🤠😅🌕
Thank you for this video Anna! I've been a pro reader for over 35 years and honestly I've seen and heard a bit of everything. Like you, I tend to live and let live. What sometimes hurts is snarky remarks from within the tarot community itself. I recently promoted the excellent work done by a few resellers and distributors in countries where unfortunately the majority of decks on offer is counterfeit. The shops I showed in my videos were 100% legit (and are obviously struggling to keep afloat because they're not competitive when everyone else sells decks for $5!). Alas, they received a lot of h@te comments. It was disheartening. On the other hand there's also a lot of wonderful supportive people, so I choose to focus on them :) LOVE that Purple MOON card :)
@@AstralLadyTarot Thank you for showing courage and giving us the opportunity to share these stories! I’ve been following your channel for years and I always find your videos refreshing and encouraging 🙏
"The Internet" 🤣 - Such a wonderful place isn't it? But so spot on, everyone has their own readings style and just like ANYTHING in life, we are our own worst judge and always doubting ourselves 😅 and love your point on the skeptic friends and the challenge! 🌘
Great topic Anna. I had a youtube years ago and left because I didn't like the mean girl attitudes and judgements. I remember going live with a friend to do readings and the other guest just looked me up and down and was so rude😂 Once I started reading for people on the live and her as well she began to be nice to me and even bought deck I read with lol I'm a very chill person and feel there's room for everyone and people have the freedom to practice and believe what they want to. I just never understood the competition attitude folks have on here. I've experienced it at a shop before too. I didn't take the offer to read there because of the energy in the room. Somehow the focus wasn't on reading for their clients but was like a tarot know it all contest between them. I was like yup.. not for me😂
@@InquisitiveSol Oof I have a couple of store stories too! I’m lucky, I love the space I do face to face readings (metaphysical store and the owners and workers are great and super chill) but for sure some people only like it when the whole show is about them. Sorry to hear about that negative experience doing online reading. I believe the competitive attitude can water down throughout the years. Then again… a reader who saw me as competition was definitely in/ past her 60s. 🤷🏻♀️🙏🏼 Thanks for sharing
I find that many of my friends who aren’t into tarot are the ones who like to ask me to pull them a card. They don’t like to admit their curiosity. None of them are malicious and I always let them know that a tarot reader is like a therapist. I am not there to judge and everything we talk about remains confidential. I don’t shout about what I do because like you said, I don’t want to offend anyone, but each to their own. I love tarot and I’m not gonna change anytime soon. It’s a beautiful tool to believe in and it gives me confidence and advice. Thank you for your video. 🙋🏽♀️💝 The MOON!🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔
Thoughtful topic, Ana. Thank you. I have friends and family across the spectrum. As a former nihilist myself, I might be my own biggest critic. 😂 even tho I don’t read professionally, I’ve experienced the “teasing” you mention and mostly that from non spiritual and highly religious people in my life. I prefer the folks who are curious. 😊
@@MarleneTheresa Curious people are FUN because they are open 🥳 Regarding own biggest critic (I can relate) It’s nice to realize also the point where you are still very much you, you just experience the world a bit differently- perhaps in a more magical way.
I like to broadcast live because editing videos takes so much time. There is always a danger in live broadcasts of who might show up in the chat - especially at night! (though it's always night somewhere). You need pretty thick skin sometimes. My best advice is to just be yourself. The more you know you, the less you'll fear your moon!
Love this video so much, I've taken a long break from tarot and tarot-tube because it felt like so much of show and tell and not deep diving into the practice. Always love watching your videos, looking forward to the rest of this series!
