I appreciate you sharing. I will be following for Moore. When I get mine, I’ll be back for reference, well until next time peace and chicken grease😄👍👍👋👋😎
Love the weathering, yes, the windscreen looks awesome, my drivers doors. I’m gonna cut the glass out like the windows are roll down, cause I’m gonna put drivers in mine plus paint the interior great job dude.
Yeah, love the lights, I just subscribed Sunday, July 21. I will be watching more, I’ve got the defender 110. I’m waiting on the discovery. Definitely got to have all the lights super cool.
Thanks for all the effort into making this detailed video. What about replacing the stock electronics for the Orlandoo Hunter D4L 4in1 package? it is very rich function wide, Just wondering if the onboard ESC could support this FCX24m motor.
Hey thanks for the comment. The orlando D4L while rich in functionality doesn't really perform as good in slow speed crawling. If I were to swap out the FCX24M electronics I would replace it with something else rather than the orlandoo d4l unit.
@@drxxavier do you know any micro light boards? I own dasmikro sound unit, nb4 radio and furitek micro esc, just missing the light unit to build a nice package
@@drxxavier will do tks. Another thing I would like is to bing a 4in1 transmitter from radio master to the orlandoo hunter board and use external esc to take advantage of the sound and light features, have you tried that?
yes I did john i watched the whole 4 parts and subscribed to your channel love your work watched the part about the winch and how u mounted it and the switch at the rear so it swaps over to channel 3 but dont understand how u wired it to do that
Looks great, good work. Where did you get the luggage and driver? BTW, this series is technically 1/19th scale. Not sure why they didn't just make it 1/18 and label it as so.
It's not 18 scale for sure. I think it's closer to 20th scale. But yea I too don't understand why manufacturers these days just pull out the scale numbers out of thin air. I got the driver and accessories from Aliexpress. If you search scx24 you will find many fitting accessories.
Looks nice! Will do something similar. Did you respray the bonnet or just clearcoat? Sand ladders look to shiny. Might want to chip them with dark grey/brown. And then apply a wash in thesame color. Just cover it in very diluted paint. Also wiping the middle of the side windows with some paint remover on your finger removes just a bit clearcoat to appear they have been hastely wiped from the outside with an arm or hand. Thanks for the vid!
Excellent work, I will buy the same model for myself and do weathering. Before that I only did it on 1/35 scale models. There the weathering is varnished, but here you also varnished the model?
