Couple things....That mattress is way too thin for my taste (3.5cm). It's a game breaker for me. And, no, I am not spending more money for a mat when a product this expensive should include one better than this. Also, their website is useless and gives almost no information on this product. That makes me very nervous. I would be concerned that if I needed to contact them, that it would be very difficult. Why all the mystery from them?
Good informative video mate. Thankyou. Separate question. How do you find your superior shockers? Mine aren't as firm as I would like. Do yours give you a noticeable firm ride each time you adjust it?
No worries mate, this was a while ago and I need to do a new one because I’ve learnt a bit since the first time. The superior shocks are ok but they are also 7 years old now. Probably need a rebuild or a new set.
Hope the Rock tammers work well for you. We use the Stone Stomper and it has worked great. The longer hitch will put slightly more load on chassis & rear axle. Safe travels
Stone stompers work ok but can be a PITA - various reasons. I made my own additional rear mudflaps because rock tamers didn't fit well with my rear bar and hitch. The set-up worked a treat.
Thankyou!! They sure are some of our favourite spots. It would really depend on the size of the vans (I think its supposed to be one per site) but they are pretty large sites☺️
Hey mate, cheers this was my first time doing it a few years ago, should probably redo it when I do them next. They have lasted pretty well but I think my passenger side is slightly leaking.
i lived in Whyalla for 45 odd yrs and stony point(point lowley) is an awesome place to camp swim fish. You guys should of visited the whyalla foreshore boat ramp where dolphins follow the boats in and come right up to you,and best of all its free.
did your Ranger have a GVM upgrade to tow the Van. or was it still factory suspension. i am looking at a forbes13. with my Dmax which is still factory suspention, cheers
Great video guys, love the info you’re providing on the places to visit, it’s great. In particular we like the info on dog friendly places. We’ve got 2 Dogs also and plan on travelling soon, so it’s super helpful. Would be interested in your thoughts or any precautions you take with your two, in regards to baits while travelling bush. Happy travels….. Jason and Monica
Thankyou so much!! In terms of the dogs we always make sure they’re up to date with their tick/flea/worming tablets and if there is bait signs or people have let us know then we definitely keep them on a leash or if they’re off we don’t let them leave our sight just in case. We hope you enjoy your travels!
Hi Jimmy, yes we will be doing one soon, as we don’t use it full time we wanted to wait a while to give a proper review, is there anything you want us to answer in this video? :)
Hi mate did you have to crimp the fuse tap on to the supplied ignition cable? Or does it plug straight in off the fuse tap in to the end of the ignition cable
All really great areas. Pt Nepean interesting. Hope you get to other side to Pt Lonsdale. One of my favourite places. You doing a great job. Take care. Graham Geelong.
Hi. Once upon a time I did road trips. I don't roam far now. I'm getting a bit long in the tooth! I do vlog though, just locally at the moment around coastal NSW Qld border. I wish you both much pleasure as you continue on your adventures. Thanks for sharing your trips. 🙂
Thankyou so much we sure are loving this big adventure! That’s awesome you are still getting out there and enjoying it as much as you can - that’s what it’s all about! Enjoy your travels too☺️
