Hello I'm Open Minded Wonderer, I upload videos on a few different topics. Mainly exploring areas across the UK and bring information about that area as well what you could see along the way. I am a keen walker and share routes that I hope would be of interest. I also do relaxation videos. I hope you enjoy the videos and consider subscribing to my channel to be updated on future videos. Thank you for visiting my channel #historylover #moderndaybreakfastclub
On the deserted island are the footings outlining the building foundations original or are they placed there to show the outlines of where the historical buildings once stood? I'm always fascinated by these old buildings, their straight lines, intricate details and large stones and left wondering how in the world did they build these massive structures??? At 14:37 is that a stone with a hole cut into it to form a little portal window?
Hi Cara What the beautiful storyteller, Cara! Massive historical site! quite long walking tour? hehe As listening to your voice-over..this film makes a whole.. The UK's history...no story without Viking, especially geographic character, surrounded by the sea No wonder the UK used to say having the great Navy.. Anyway, OMGoodness, the ruin is gorgeous to explore.. My eyes are glued to... You must enjoy exploring the rich heritage as I did. Outstanding film! I thank YOU. Are you monetized? or working on hrs. If so I can work on your playlist.Let me know...Cara
Two lovely places this week Cara, so much has been escavated WOW...so lucky to have you to take me to see this! The castle was an added extra this week...thank you Cara I feel so lucky to have found you to take me to these amazing places and giving me all this amazing history to go along with it...thank you so much!
That place would be so cold and bleak in the winter, cannot understand why people would want to live in a place like this right next to the sea during the storms.
Hi Cara, what amazing location!s Both places were extensive and absolutely fascinating. I really enjoyed the tour of each and your very interesting narration. Thank you for bringing these places to life 😊👍
A wonderful site at Birsay, it was super interesting to listen to the history from Pictish, Norse and beyond. The site is excellently excavated which made for such a cool visit. Thank you for that. Would love to visit there, the surrounding area looks wonderful too! Then onto Robert's Palace, loved the rich history that is entwined in the walls! Beautiful stone work and such an interesting ruin. Thank you Cara xx
I am sure everyone who passes this way looks out examining the waters half hoping to spot its famous "resident" Nessie. It is a place we have often passed by or sometimes lingered a while.
A very exciting exploration of the excavation. The last trench and finding of stone circle is fascinating. It must be so amazing to see this area in person. Wonderful share 👍👍👍
Thank you, can't wait for the results to come out. I'm hoping they may do another one next year, but i'm sure i heard this may have been the last year for this area. You must be off to Orkney soon?
Ey up me duck. I love interesting looking, gnarly old trees and am a bit of a tree hugger but please keep that to yourself, lol. Suffice it to say this video was particularly enjoyable for me. Ay a good'un me duck 🙂👍
Fantastic Job Cara. So fascinating. Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry I am so behind. incredible findings. I would have love to have been an archaeologist if I was more academic.
Bizarre! I was imagining that they just used the rocks in the circle and recycled them into Arthur's stone but then I thought, how? It looks like a giant just plucked them from the ground, like loose teeth, no signs of excavation around them at all.
Your symbol looks like a cyclotron, funny that, just like a stone circle magnetic-electro pulsed energy circle and I wonder why? Arthur's Stone in Gower may be worth a visit as it seems to have numerous simularites to that which you protray including being coverd over with earth. Good luck and keep going.
I will take a look at that, thank you. not many people mention the symbol. In fact you wont find it anywhere as it came to be in a meditation many years ago and have used it ever since. Thank you so much for your comment

I take it you mean Arthur, do you i had no idea how many places around that area alone carries this mans name, that's crazy and yet had nothing to do with him.
