This is a beautiful great way to use some of my extra SWAG and end up with something so cute! Thank you for sharing and inspiring me! Have a Happy Crafting Weekend! Gina
Good morning. This is absolutely a creative way to make a journal. I would have never thought of using coffee filters. This is so beautiful and so unique. 🤩Thank you for sharing and inspiring me with this beautiful craft! Have a wonderful weekend! Gina
8/13/24: Just when I thought I'd seen it all, here comes this project. OMG, I was totally mesmerized by the technique and all that you used in putting it together. I am so inspired to make a few now that I have a stack of envelopes waiting in the wings craving to be dressed up! This is a gift in and of itself and whomever I give it to, I hope they appreciate the work that goes into it and keeps them someplace special forever. Thank you for sharing it. It was fun to watch. And WOW!!, you have a household of creative people. Love that too! 💗
I've scored quite a bit from thrift stores by just asking if they sell broken jewelry bits. Several have filled my car with boxes filled with tangled and broken jewelry! I also buy from a local lady who sells me her discards by the pound.
This is a great idea for the scraps of my gel prints that I can't bear to part with. PLUS they will coordinate with my Gelli print pages, envelopes etc... Thanks
So beautiful. I couldn’t watch it with sound cuz I’m at a public place, forgot my headphones. Definitely will watch again with sound. I love that it looks so much like a folded butterfly.
Thank you !! ,you just gave me more ideas for my granddaughters journal, that I plan to make.. Bright colours for a child is much nicer. Love it !! Watching from Germany.
I did not, just a few holes I felt needed reinforcement. I considered every one so they all matched, but then remembered I don't like things to match. lol
How exciting! Would love to see what you come up with. These are super fun to make. I'm working on another at the moment to post the tutorial. There are a few ways to do the binding so am hoping to show those.
By the way; or BTW, my journals are going to be an interactive art exhibit this coming month in Johnson City, TN! www.erwinrecord.net/living/erwin-couple-to-present-art-exhibit-on-june-7/article_074aa28e-1dce-11ef-a0df-4fe2072720c3.html
