A few years before my mother's passing, she and I were talking about her experiences as a child. The subject got around to poetry. For some reason I still don't know, I asked her what her favorite poem was. She said "Crossing The Bar". And because of her age, she knew death was not far off. WOW. She was the real thing.
All I can say is WOW! This is such a great song anyway, but your group has made it come alive with passion. Great blend, especially in the unison parts. Love a capella singing and this is one of the finest examples I've heard. As a musician myself, I truly appreciate the great interpretation of this piece.

Ever since we buried our 24-year-old son this song has taken on a new and deeper meaning ❤. Thanks for the reminder that we are just passing through and on our way home, where we will meet again ❗️
This is truly lovely. Everything you sing is beautiful and very moving. My husband and I are just now discovering the gift that is the Mennonite people, since we retired to South Carolina (He loves the baking!!). We made our careers as musicians in the Washington, DC area, then the Lord must have led us here. :) Bravo and blessings to you all!
Lovely sacred piece of music, and very well sung. Beautiful. I found myself listening to this many times, and it seems to get better every time I listen to it. The Hebrew and Arabic add so much to the song as well!
