How should i do with the existing ground wire?

The idea of an external RCA kit, it interests me. Can you explain the workings of its internal ground wiring? I see there's an option to switch to an internal ground. Does installing the kit make using an external ground optional?

Im guessing this doesnt work with the Technics SL-1410 mk2...Table is too low

Hi, the 4 rca cables and the ground one come pre soldered to one side (rca box) as in this video or I have to solder both sides?
