Fyah Sthar formerly Fire Star, hails from the musical island, Jamaica. Growing up in Union Garden, Kingston 13, music was his main focus at a young age. At age 18 his first single, “Bus De Place” for Bingi Production, began rotating on the radio. He moved to Portmore and joined forces with two other artist, Buzhrock and IWayne.They became the original Lavaground Warriors.He released the single, “Protect The Little Children”on the Tsahai (Receive) Rhythm (Altafaan Records) He's featured on IWayne’s debut album, Lavaground, on the track entitled, “Conquer.” He gained international popularity with the release of the historical Lavaground Icumentary. He's performed on Spring Breaks, “Stars In Action. Extensively performing throughout the U.S. since 2006. His style includes Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afro Beat, & R&B. His first album, Where I’m From, under his record label, Sthar Afyah Records features collaborations with artist, Whitney H., Prestige, Hattaman, Coprette, and Turbulence.
