I ended up making a dinosaur body instead of a flamingo body. 😂 Not sure what I did wrong, but it felt like the written and spoken instructions weren't always matching so I'll probably look for a different tutorial.
Oh, no! I'm sorry! My tutorials are pretty old now, but when I was making them I was really struggling with severe anxiety. There's a possibility that I skipped or messed up a row in the video so the written instructions should be the most accurate! Let me know if there is a specific part you need clarification on!
I know I messed up one row in the video but this is 3 years old. If you let me know which part I can clarify. It's likely the written pattern is correct
It's okay! I'm fine to talk about it haha I have a lot of mental illness. When I started this channel it was supposed to be a few videos for my little cousins I was teaching to crochet. At the time I was barely functioning and not sleeping for 3 days at a time for a very long period of time. I got help and was diagnosed with bipolar. As I started getting treatment, my panic disorder got worse. When I try to film I start having panic attacks. Which is why a lot of the parts of the videos are so cut up and short because I was editing all my hyperventilating out haha I do want to start videos again, but it's been so long that it feels weird now.
@@AcaciaCopley ohhh ok I’m glad you feel safe enough to talk about it and Im glad your getting better also I know it’s tough getting back to things like social media but you got it I believe you (1. Ignore my crappy grammar 2. I’m not trying to force you or push you to making a video just trying to in courage you 3. Your doing great and I hope you get even better😁😁😁 sending love)
Thanks for the video but it’s Very difficult to see what you’re doing in this lighting. I know how to crochet but would be good to be able to see your hands clearly.
I consider myself an intermediate crocheter. I too found parts quite confusing (used my experience to correct issues). The white belly portion, for example, goes from 8 stitches across to the next row: “2 increases, 8 single crochet, 2 increases, for a total of 14 stitches “. First of all, how do you go from the row of 8 stitches to that row? Did we miss a row? Maybe increase, sc 6, then increase? But that would only give us 12.
This is the first stuffed animal I’ve ever crocheted! My son loves him. I added little pink cheeks and some white half way around the eyes. I love this little shark.
sorry, my computer was being worked on so hopefully you figured it out! I did an increase in the first 2 and last 2 stitches so you should have 4 extra stitches in that row!
Sooo cute! My brain doesn’t follow very well but I’m going to try it out and I’ll just keep trying until I get it because this is too cute! I’m gunna make it as a gift for my daughters friend ( she’s 6 and loves flamingos!)
Just found this tutorial as i was looking for a cute, moose and yours is the cutest! I normally use blanket yarn for amigurumi because it's so much easier to see the stitches, but brown is tough to find in stores. i need this for a birthday present tomorrow!I bought some loops and threads at Michaels and followed your tutorial. Wish i would've stuffed the antlers legs and arms earlier, as i was making them. I didn't see that step in your tutorial and just kept going. Maybe you could add that in writing over the video? It's okay, i used my crochet hook and squeezed it in! 🥴 I'm sewing it together tomorrow. Hope it turns out as cute as yours, thx! 😊👍🧶
I am a beginner to Crocheting, but found your written instructions easy to follow. (googled some terms). If you could explain where you are sewing the legs & Tail onto the shell. You mentioned that you sewed the head at the 12 stich place, I take that is @ RND 2: INC around (12)? Thank you for the Tutorial, can't wait to finish my little guy for my Grandson He LOVES Sea Turtles.
I just found your snake video and I absolutely love it. I’m going to attempt it …looks like a lot of work. :) can people post a picture of their work here to show you their snake I love that snake so much. I would love to see everyone snakes. :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THIS DOWN. I was a bit confused with her instructions and tbh english isn't my first language😅 I really hope you have a wonderful day!
Might look a little weird without a bottom jaw but you could stitch a few on with a needle, use some felt, or the crochet option you chain as long as you want the base to be. slst in the first stitch. the next will be your first tooth base, ch 2 or 3 depending on length and slst to the base. if you want lots of teeth start the next in the next stitch. if you want it spaced out slst in the next. do this across!
Literally adorable! Im going to try to make one because at school im a gifted and talented student and so we do presentations every year and im doing turtles!
Hello! I love this design! Do you think it is possible for me to use the pattern for your giraffe and sell the finished product? (WITH CREDITS OFC!) TYSM
Im new to making animals. Your tutorial was easy to follow except for the shell. You never say or show how to close it or where to place the opening when sewing the head, legs & tail on. Please help!
Sorry! You close it like you would any other piece in amigurumi. You weave the needle through the loops and pull to close. Where the opening is, is the bottom. It's perfectly round, so it doesn't matter where you add everything!
Explaining what "Increase" and "Decrease" means would be helpful if another tutorial is made. I had to go to another video to learn what those meant and how to do them. It was a bit frustrating. But, this is the only shark pattern I can find that makes enough sense to follow
I'm sorry you had difficulties. This is not a beginner crochet along. Where to put single crochet into the magic circle and increase, decrease is assumed to be known.
Hello, I want to start it but it look like a lot of yarn and i'm afraid to be out of yarn in the middle of my project. I saw u responded to some of the comments not long ago, so I was wondering if u could tell me how much yarn do you think it needs ?
