The video is great and I liked that you had a special story about two people coming back together just like the original story of Haunted Halls. I am curious about how the agency can be sometimes corrupt because as you said, it was expecting results. Results as in perfection or what? There was also the strange effect in the Sanitarium that kept disorienting the people which was also fascinating.
12 years ago I was playing this find objects game and loved this soundtrack. Back then we were playing with my wife and my little daughter was trying to interrupt our gameplay, she is a college student now and doesn’t want us to interrupt her studies 😢
I'll admit this one was a bit weak but I think it's more a filler game for what comes next. they revamped the timeline so that now Charles Dalimar never built the infamous Ravenhearst manor but there's still the lingering fear of someone else continuing his wicked legacy behind the scenes, to say the series is unrealistic is a bit out there considering it has the mention of ghosts, psychic powers, time travel, mistwalkers and a mad scientist/warlock who uses ravens to do his evil bidding while he builds over the top locks and puzzles. Hopefully the next game should be better and quell any problems with the franchise, until then I await to see what happens next

When I listened to this for the first time after finishing the game 10 years ago I got so emotional, such an incredible music, glad I was able to find after all these years 🥹 still hurts my heart when I listen to it
I didn't watch your video all the way, Phil, but I totally believe you. And to think I was wanting to get back to the series for so many years. I stopped at Escape from Ravenhearst, but now I might as well keep it that way. I'm so disappointed it's become so boring. What a waste. 😭
Moths to a flame, Broken hour, Fates Carnival, Black Veil, and Rewind are all good ones. Broken hour being the most original from Eipix that they ever made. But yes, as of now, MCF is just a stain of what it used to be.
@@Philofhatsandgames It's so sad. I'll never be able to play my CDs of those games again. …Of course, I can't play them anyway since they're too old and my laptop doesn't have a disc compartment, or whatever it's called. 🙁
@@Philofhatsandgames I used to have one of those on my older laptops, but I didn't know how to get any of my games on there. But still, I don't feel like playing my MCF games anymore now that they're boring.
