Have you heard the ceramic magnet - steel pole piece version? - just curious - I'd assume alnico magnet pole pieces to have sweeter overtones vs a ceramic bar magnet energizing steel pole pieces. (great playing btw) Also - would you generalize the difference a ceramic single coil - single steel rail pup would have vs a ceramic single coil pup with individual steel pole pieces?

Ignore these people whining about being in tune or not.🙉 Chromatic scales arent perfectly in tune in the first place thats just physics and science. Dissonance is an important part of music. These people might consider a little gratitude first for the content and consider that not everyone is a perfectionist or strives to make their recordings perfectly in tune, and THAT is OK. I am not happy with a purchase from Musiclilly. I bought via Amazon. Pair of Wilkinson humbuckers alnico 5 m series according to the amazon ad. This was after my first order from them failed to arrive The neck pickup does not work. So tried contacting Musiclilly via the customer service email that Amazon provides for them. Their email address does not work either. And the reply email came in chinese I can only presume this is a scam company Keep your dirty-earned money Musiclilly. Youll get no more purchases from me. And ill advise others to avoid you like the plague
Great demo. I bought the neck pup for a thinline S-H Tele copy project I am building. I also bought a 4-wire Tele-single-size Hotrail humbucker for the bridge. Wasn't thinking about splitting them until I heard you here.

I put one of the MIK versions in the bridge position of an Ibanez ARX 100 (set neck artist) and it seemed like a passive alternative to an EMG 81. Now I'm putting one in a Schecter PT Fastback IIB that I already have an Artec Splendor H90 style in the neck. Metal with the bridge, blues with the neck. Curious if these Chinese made power rails are different from the old MIK versions?
Man I got the artec vh-rock humbuckers because of your video demo I had mine installed professionally and the bridge sounds nasally if the pickup is higher or lower it sounds all the same. when I adjust the pole pieces lower= honk sound at a lower volume and with the pickup raised a louder honk. Man I’m bummed out your video makes them sound amazing.
can you guys revamp some of your brass blocks to actually fit the trem arm on mim strats, and maybe do some titanium neck plates? Floyd rose titanium blocks maybe?
2:48 in the video. They are more noisy than humbuckers, yes, because they are single coils - but still not overly so. I just helped a friend install one in the neck position of a Squier Supersonic, and we both really loved how it sounded. Look into copper tape cavity shielding and you will get rid of as much noise as is possible.
