let's face it apart from a few Midfielders and fullbacks Scotland don't have Level 1 players, the spine of the team, GK, CB, ST are not Level 1, so Clarke has to work with what he has and make a team hard to beat, so it won't get any better if a new manager is brought in as we are limited to these players, with no real prospects coming through at the moment to give a more solid spine.
On paper Germany are far better but there is a lot more pressure on Germany and if we can frustrate them and get a bit of luck I do think the German's could be gotten at. I don't think German teams have been as mentally strong recently as they were in the past. However our defence is pretty poor so they are going to have to perform at a much higher level than they generally have done to get anything.
The Scottish Football Show but I'm not going to Germany, I'm going to America to cover COPA, em Noooooo that's just wrong, especially with the channel name 🏴
Unfortunately sometimes paying the bills comes first WeegieBhoy1888. Not being able to make it to Germany doesn't make you less Scottish or less of a football fan. Thanks for watching and see you back next season.
As a German it was very interesting to listen to you and to see your point of view. Archie knows Bundesliga very well. I wish the Scottish Team all the Best and now I have to say something private: When I was 14 years old I visited Scotland in 1992 and felt in love with a unknown Scottish girl I met in a hostel close by to Loch Ness. Whereever you are and whoever you are....wish you all the Best, still thinking about you and me and how our life could look like 😜 ///// Sorry for the mistakes, but I hope you understand me ///// Take care guys, enjoy the summer, good luck and have fun, my Scottish friends!
McGinn is the most over rated player av ever seen. So average yet billed as elite 🤣 my god how standards have fallen. Days gone by Scotland had Paul McStay and as much as it pains Barry Ferguson...both far far superior to McGinn
Ralston will do well in RB position and I'm gers supporter. Tom Conway was very unlucky not to score against Finland. James Forrest will do well in Euros.
We got to watch the 2nd leg at Ardler Primary school in Dundee that horrible day even as a child I've never been so gutted at a loss ever, but in hindsight it fills me with pride that my wee Dundee United took on the giants of Europe & 1987 made up for it - SHED RULE 🧡🖤🏆
Super Maurice Malpas LEGEND i was there at the first leg at tannadice , i was a teenager then we played them off the park , what a European dream for years Utd had playing all the best and never really being outplayed by any team home or away , stay cool shed rule
I'm a Qos fan . One of the panellsts there nailed the Bartley stuation well. I'd say along with some baffling Bartley decisions like not using his most talented player enough ( Gibson) that his tactics were too advanced for League 1. Players were not technical enough and game too much of a battle at this level for this to work. Finally,, yes he dd have continous injury probems with team.
It was a great day at Montrose. The people of Montrose in the town are very nice, in cafes, pubs etc. Falkirk are so fortunate to have John McGlynn & Paul Smith.
I genuinely think the only issue about the badge thing was the size. Because the Heart's badge poked out the sides it looked like a "cover up" as if someone in the street had stuck a wee sticker over a Hearts badge on a sign or something. It wasn't professional. Had the whole badge been covered up, no one would have realised and there wouldn't have been a problem. Hearts statement following it however was a little bit much.
