Thanks for this. I am a brand new owner and slogging through the quick guides and the manual for the basis for my Ioniq5 Limited. I just bought it 4 days ago. Its my first EV and feeling a bit overwhelmed (I am a senior citizen, so the learning curve for me is steep. Thanks for the explanation of that orange light in the front! I had no idea what that was! I love the car so far - but when I got the car home I noticed that the inside rear hatch was pretty dirty and oily looking. Any tips on how to clean that inside back hatch? I tried it with regular glass cleaner and a microfiber towel, but a lot of the grime is still there. Also - what does "preconditioning" the EV mean?
You’ve probably already figured this out by now. But the pieces of metal that look like an eye with a post sticking out that are attached to the black fabric pieces in the corner should stick into the bottom of the pole it should be hollow. That will keep it rigid.

Hi, I have a 2024 ioniq 5 se when I got in the car today ihe infotainment screen said update available press to start 20 minutes later I was notified on my phone that the update was successfully installed. I'm wondering why you have to download it on a USB and then install it. Thanks Joe
The NACS port is more of a physical connection, the major difference is the AC and DC pins are on the same pin. The communications protocol (and what would need to communicate in a V2G, V2L, etc) is still over the same communication pin, which supports the CCS1 communication protocol (and hence why they other charging manufactures can support it with just a plug change.) V3 and V4 dispensers support not just Tesla Communication Protocol, but the same communication protocols as CCS1 (and why magic dock works, and why they can support existing CCS1 vehicles with an adaptor - note for the Magic Dock, they allow all models, on the non-Magic Dock w/ an adapter Tesla does make sure it's on the list of ones that have gone through interoperability testing before allowing charge.) That said, on non-Tesla DC Fast Chargers w/ NACS connector on CCS1 communication protocols will be used. V2 stations only support Tesla Communication protocol, so they would need an overhaul to support the CCS1 communication protocol. That said one can expect them to be fully replaced over the next decade as well, simply do to aging.

As you mentioned, it's not just about the design or the tires; I believe this specific Hyundai model has everything it needs to be a rugged car that helps the driver enjoy all kinds of terrain adding friendly and useful settings . Let's see how they continue to develop it!

Ioniq 5 es un gran auto, es el primer EV con el que he tenido experiencia y tras haber manejado muchos carros que ocupan gasolina puedo decir que es realmente impresionante lo económico que puede llegar a ser, sin mencionar lo espacioso que es y cómo se puede disfrutar de manejarlo sin el particular ruido de la carretera.
I go to touchless car washes from time to time with no problems. (You won't need to shift to neutral.) However, I have also gone through normal car washes where the system moves your car. It works fine, but getting into neutral is a bit of a pain. So, while going through either type of car wash is fine, touchless is much easier.
It comes with one for the front windshield, however it's like piece of cloth with suction cups.(Not a big fan) I highly recommend just buying a normal universal sunshade for the front. As for the rear windshield, Im probably going to have to look for something on amazon. We will be doing a camping video soon and I'll go over what I find and update ya! Thanks for watching!
It could be because Tesla chargers are not supported at the moment. We have been waiting for a map/ui update. As of now it’s delayed until some time in September but I wouldn’t be surprised if they delay again until October. Once our cars are supported then I’m sure it’ll be on the map.

To prevent the 12v battery to go dead while having the back door open, put the cat in "Utility mode" because that when the main battery will be used to power the any plugged-in devices, built-in lamps like the roof lights and back door light and not draw from the 12v battery. In Utility Mode the 12v battery til also be charged and kept on trickle charge for the duration.
But seriously question, can I install memory for seats and mirrors without a button for it? My husband and I have an ioniq 5 se, and there is no memory button.
Dang that's a lot of orders!, I used to do GrubHub and would do like 4-6 orders a night. But it might be different in my area cause each order would take like an hour to complete.
